Guys, it will be a great help if all of you can send a list of things that you want from the trading platform

For starters, small niggly cribs about what exists (rather than new features)

• Login screen: The 'Go' button is unnecessary, IMO
• Login: In the 2FA question screen, cursor should be positioned in the first input box (as in NOW)
• Post login error: "An attempt was made to access an unnamed file past its end". Sound like a quote from X-files.
• Logout: Error while loading Nest PluginOption Stratgey.dll. Suggested remedy: ignore.
• Logout: Crashes with Next Generation Electronic Securities Trading System has stopped working. Will stick to using Nest, thank you.
• Fonts: Inconsistent across status bar, message bar, many other places. Unable to set across program from preferences.
• Int/Brd window: Large balls, what do the five balls represent. After market close, what does MCX Normal Market: Normal Market Open mean?
• About dialog: Clicking on 'Third party licenses and attributions' does nothing
• Group Settings dialog: None of the Options drop-down are feasible with a limit of 55 per tab. Selecting any of the Options results in a just punishment (in NOW at least).
• Group Settings dialog: Export of group is an .ini file. Import defaults to a .txt file.
• Group Settings dialog: Cannot arrange/order symbols.
• Market Watch headers / Headers in general: Inconsistent capitalization e.g. Support levels, Resistance Levels. Inconsistent spacing e.g. Expiry Date/ ExpiryDate/ Expiry. Inconsistent (short) forms: Open, Open Rate or Exchg-Seg/ Exchange/ Exhg-Seg/ Exhg.Seg, Opt Type/ Option Type, Tr Price/ Trig Price. On the positive side, the popular Qty and Vol usages are fairly consistent.
• Reposition Headers dialogs: Different size, etc. in Market Watch, Orders, ...

But it would be a long list.

will post my long list later . but first of all if you really want people trade happily with you, make your platform(s) reliable. if there is a minimum system requirement, mention it as compulsory. like constant 'abcd' bandwidth. or anything else.

second, launch two versions of your nest trader/any other platform.

1. ADVANCE - RT quotes + order placement facility + net position + RMS limits + order book + pay-in link, with all advanced features like charts, tv, news, tips, pulse, plus, minus etc.

2. TINY- with NOT a single thing mentioned after word 'with'. only have RT quotes + order placement facility + net position + RMS limits + order book + pay-in link. and after that hope it can be made more reliable and light.

If you can not provide RESPECTIVE FIGURES what is the FUN in having all
stuff in the Watchlists.
Few months back I added Theta,Gamma,Delta,omega etc... to my watchlist
but to find all ZEROs against them.I deleted them later on.
Do not put the blame on NSE.If NSE does not provide the values,just ignore it.
The same holds good for other lists also.
If you are really interested ,the DEFAULT USER ITEMS will be sent ,by many
users.

Was referring to the 'Go' button in the username/pw screen. ZT does not have an ISP choice screen (but it also applies to NOW).

it depends in which cash script you are trading. as zerodha answered some days back-

Stock leverages are usually 5 to 10 times based on what stock you are trading..

for equity futures it is 40% of stipulated margin,

for commodity futures it is 50% of stipulated margin,

For checking out how much margin on stocks, check out the intraday margin excel on download section of our website..

for option writing same as nifty future (40%). i like their pre-active margin facility, b/c some brokers release margin manually. but like some other online ones at zerodha also it is pre-active. so, you can use it immediately as market opens (as per my experience).
