Margin required for LT is 17.45% of it's Lot value for the near month contract.
Closing price for LT on Friday 15/06/2012 is Rs. 1326. Lot size = 250

So 1326*250 = Rs. 331500. 17.45% of 331500 = Rs 57846.75

Rs. 57846.75 required for overnight position. Rs 23138.4 required for intraday position.

Please note: These calculations are approx, and will change on daily basis. you can download span margin file from Zerodha back-office for more details.

Guys, it will be a great help if all of you can send a list of things that you want from the trading platform to [email protected] , Put in subject as " Sachin" .. We will try to incorporate as many requests as is feasible... There are so many things that you would probably want which we won't know about, so do send the email out..
It would be a Great Help:-
If we can execute trade in Option at "Market Price" using "Nifty Spot" as "Trigger Price".
Because of big volatility in option prices it is difficult to put desired option price as trigger price while day trading with options. It would be easier if we can put nifty spot as trigger price.
Many International brokers provide that facility. :p
Cheers.

Hi Zerodha,

I have two queries . Could you please reply to these queries ?

(Q1) How do I view past orders with their status ?

I would like to view all orders with their status ( cancelled , rejected , completed etc) within a specified date range .
Although I find an Order History menu in nowonline and in NOW desktop but they show no orders.

(Q2) I want to run a report to find gain/loss of my trades for NSE Equities segment.

This report will be helpful for income tax capital gain. However , I don't find any such suitable report generation menu for this in your backoffice. How do you generate such reports ?

Please guide.

Just received a SMS.

"Today full margin will be required to trade derivatives until the completion of RBI credit policy."

What is this zerodha? You should inform us at-least one day earlier. The same thing you have done on the budget day. After that you promised us that you will inform us in advance.

But same thing. You are informing now.
