Re: Please make Nest more user friendly.

What false???

Try it out yourself. Except options, all other segment requires only single margin for manual bracket orders.

First try then point your finger.
For example.
I buy 1 lot of Nifty at 5100 for which suppose margin is 10,000 for intraday.
Now, I want to put 2 more orders.
1 lot to sell at 5125
1 lot to stop out at 5075.

So you are saying that I need only 10,000 in my account, to put all these orders?

Sachin , please confirm?

Zerodha,

one request ...whenever you launch your new software ..please send emails / SMS to your clients regarding the update....

We would like to hear what are the new things going on in Zerodha !

also if possible make a Bulletin board in your website where you can put updated news .....otherwise how come people will get to know zerodha updates.

I communicated the same thing to your executive.... you guys work a lot but forget to share.

Yes only 10K required.
After the execution of your buy order at 5100 you can place both SL and take profit order without any extra margin.

@pdeoghare,

soft_trader has already explained to your query.....I'm just adding an example to illustrate this further....

Limit Order :

Buying lower than CMP or Selling higher than CMP. No Trigger is required.

For ex, to Buy @ 105 when CMP is 110, just put limit @ 105.
To Sell @ 115 when CMP is 110, put limit @ 115

StopLoss Order :

Buying higher than CMP or Selling lower than CMP.

For ex, to Buy @ 115 when CMP is 110, put limit @ 115, Trigger @ 114.50.
To Sell @ 105 when CMP is 110, put limit @ 105, Trigger @ 105.50.

Hope that helps.
That surely helps. Thanks for explaining it with an example.

i m from mp and i wana open account in zerodha what is the procedure of that and in how many days my account is activated.
Zerodha is the best person to answer this...

As Zerodha is away .... as per my experience ... you download the form from zerodha website..fill it up ...and send it via courier . For any issues regarding form filling ..just give them a call...they will guide you......it will take max 2 - 3 days to activate your account....if you want a demat then it might take a little bit more time ...but everything should be completed within a week.

Happy trading
