If it does not, then charge whatever penalty you wish to. Or better still, take full year's AMC in advance or in year's end - and give us mukhti from this jhanjhat. Life is so busy that people mind remains busy with one thing or other you know..that move will only help..

My broker charges AMC on monthly basis (rather they should have named it MMC :lol But I never had a problem simply because they duduct that abysmally low amount from my trading account by themselves and send the bill to me.

Zerodha should evolve this kind of a system. All automatic, hassles free and hands off approach. Time has come when you guys (Zerodha) need to invest in process.

If I do a CNC BUY an Equity ...Can I sell it on the same day ? Is there any problem / charges / auction etc ? When this trade will be settled ?


I'm asking because suppose if my target price is achieved on the same day of CNC buy itself ...and I may not wish to hold it...want to sell ...is it possible ?

Yes you can do that.

It will be a CNC sell. And you will be charged intraday brokerage rates.

I have called up ILFS office. They confirm me that we have to Pay AMC charges. No other charge we have to pay and i have paid the same without any penalty.

Brokerage would be as delivery based 0.1% or Rs 20 whichever is lower. STT would be as per delivery which would be a big additional charge. 0.025% on sell side for intraday and 0.125% for overnight...

Hi Zerodha,

Does the new Nest trader(or in help with 'option stratetizer') has the ability to support the margin-requirement calculation for Options trading based on the strategy?
That is, if i want to create credit-spread position in nifty option,then the max-risk amount is fixed for this trade. so can nest-trader block only risked amount as margin-requirement and don't block the margin like margin for 1 nifty-futures for short+1 long?

If not, is there plans to support this lateron?
