Whenever I try to open Intraday charts, the NOW software crashes. Any solutions?

My System : Windows 7 Home Premium, Core i5, 4 GB RAM

Issue is not with your system but with the platform NOW. Opening a chart either freezes NOW or crashes it most times, and when it doesn't crash, it displays a shart instead of a chart. Practically of no use to aid one in taking trading decisions.
NOW is extremely good for quick execution... so if you have an alternative for charting, you could be better off using that for the time being...

That happens with every platform I've used so far. NOW is no exception.. whether you are using a simple desktop or a super computer with a T1 connection.

I am presently using both at a time on my Computer.. NestTrader and Now.


1.Now is very Fast as compared with NestTrader. Interface is totally Similar ... as they are made by Omneysys (as per my knowledge)

2. Nest only gives Intraday charts for only one day.... no Historic charts. (If you want you can get Nest Pulse/Premium at cost of 125/- per month. I am using their trial now. It is giving charts for 7days Intraday and historic charts EOD are free)

3. Now crashes if you try to open Chart ( I think they are not providing charting)

4. So overall Nest Trader is also Good Bet if you cosider charting with or without Nest Premium.

Dear Frend.... I have Last One year Nifty daily charts (Everyday)..with what happened on that day which affects market on that day with US Markets close, Asian Markets Opens and Europe Markets Opens Figures on that day and how that effects on our markets..Its really very useful and very profitable for every trader, especially for Day Traders and Futures Traders...There is no any site which gives you this kind of data and charts not even NSE and BSE.... Happy Trading

Since Zerodha placed their servers at the exchange and since we get data from
those servers directly, NOW is fast.

Since Zerodha is planning to co-locate their servers for NEST also, logically the
data should be as fast as NOW - unless if any other technicality prevents it.

Free Google charts give 30day intraday data of 30 min charts, 10day intrady data for 5 min charts, 5day intraday data for 2min charts. Pretty useful for trading.
Paid Nest Plus is giving Intraday charts for ONLY 7 DAYS! Are you sure?
IF TRUE. That is not good. 30min charts will not show even 100ema, only 65 candle for 30 min charts, 130 candle for 15min in 7 day! Insufficient for good Tech Analysis.

Yes I am pretty sure.... as I am using their trial presently... they have only 7days Intraday Charts.....

I agree with you that it is not good and insufficient for TA. And thank you for telling me abt Google ... I know that .... but I really not needed that as I am already using Amibroker for my TA.

Do NOW and TT halt at the same time ?? I have noticed it a few times - when both the softwares stop updating at the same time, then of course, now picks up again whereas TT just halts.

I want to trade in 91 day T Bills derivatives. Problem is I don’t see any values in ‘Best Buy Yield’ or ‘Best Sell Yield’ on the NOW Software. Am I missing something?
