Thanks for the words,

We should have an integrated mutual fund platform once we start offering Zerodha Trader for equities as well..

That said, if the idea is to deploy excess cash, it makes so much more sense to invest it into Exchange traded funds...Easier to enter and exit and lesser cost compared to mutual funds...

Liquid bees and Gold ETF's have no STT .. Nifty ETF's have STT... The advantages of trading ETF's compared to mutual funds are pretty big... Like in the US, people will move away from Mutual funds to ETF's very soon...

Check out the following brochure on ETF's:

oh!! and I forgot, trading ETF's with our brokerage would be as good as paying nothing at all... ;)

Happy Trading...
Is the payout for ETF the same day or t+2

Thanks for the interesting info which I was not aware of specifically the no STT part. Do you get intraday margin for this? and obviously you must be needing a Demat account to carry overnight?

@Zerodha:

Just got a reply from RKSV that, ICICI Bank is added in the nowonline.in payment gateway. Could you confirm this?

I have ICICI bank already linked with you, but it is not coming in the drop-down under payin section in nowonline.in
@ Zerodha,

You have over-looked my post.

What is best (Free+Instant+Safe) way to transfer funds into zerodha?
Zerodha has started charging Rs 9 for instant fund transfer Which I feel it is ridiculous. No other brokers do that.

I think the free transfer is from your HDFC Bank a/c to Zerodha's HDFC bank account.

It might not be instant as you need to tell Zerodha to credit the same amount into your trading a/c.

It should take less time than NEFT transfer. Actually it depends how quick you chase them. :)

But of course it's a hassle.
