Hi

I need your help the first time here. Hope you do not mind about it.

Women s in India.

What are the traps for a men when meeting any woman in India or whit other words, what should I not do when meeting them first time.

Sorry to bother you about this, but I am not familiar with your habits when it comes to this point.

I was living all over the world, but I never was living in India.

Some points I may have to look at ?

Dan,

Let me answer this from your own way of trading.

India or US, I think all Women are like "Options". Wonderful to talk to and be with, but watch out the Volatility factor my friend. Some are more volatile and you'll need to be away from them.

Options expire after certain date :D
So you saying that we have to leave them :D

To me they are like good shares . If you find a good gal take delivery of that gal in your life demat :)
BTW Some guys prefer to intraday, position, swing,BTST etc with certain shares (i am not that type BTW :p )

Hi

Thanks AW10 for your wise words. A Venus is a Venus and it is not really about taking any major decision in first meeting. Using the instinct and enjoy the moment is surely best.

Even than, what Placebo brings in place is what I also thought and experienced in other countries. Town and country sides are in many places two different things and he second this view. Even religion ask in different places for different behaviors.

VJAY, it would be vacations and as India is huge, I am not sure to stay in one place or to travel around. Have to make a decision about what has to float the boat.

Raunak, I agree with you, that the option and volatility factor is really to look at, specially when using a longer time frame for the trade. :D

Superman, I am more an EOD trader ( Do not interpret anything wrong what I say not ) Did a lot of that swing and short time intra day trades and today I prefer more to take the quieter, delivery of a successful trade.

Rajsingh, bout with a mod because of a wrong trade is not in my intension, as we can use a stop loss and leave the battlefield to prepare a new entry.

Thanks to all for the input and good trading, what ever that means.:)

Hi

I was reading the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung ( FAZ ) and was lead to an interesting page.

Here some thing for the evenings or for those, which want to know more about how money rules the world or how money is created. Many very informative movies ( some over 3 hours ) about the fed, about how the bank financed the second world war, about how money gained control over the states and much more.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-466210540567002553&q=mises#docid=-4020719354420953428

Press on the url and you will be on the page. This movie is just one of them.

how i messed it up

hello to all senior members,

i am a new kid here. just wondering is it ok to post my queries and problems regarding trading in this thread. so the experienced traders would be able to guide me. i know it is a big ask but i will be grateful.

i want to tell you things like how i messed up my winning position and converted into loss or took the quick but little profit. had i only waited a few seconds/minutes(in case of day trade) and few days more(in position trading) i would have made a killing.

queries like
for example i longed dlf today and i was in profit but hesitated three times. yes market gives me three chances to take the profit but i ....................
Although the profit was only .65% but in intraday i think it's fair. am i right or wrong in my thinking.

the major problem is that i actually opened up the sell form to fill up the sell order twice but something inside me stopped me from sending it, was that greed/fear or both. how you people control such emotions.

if i posted this in a wrong thread please guide me to the right thread.

thanks and regards

Stay in this threads and stick to them for maybe six month or longer. Start to read them from the beginning and make screen shots from every important post for you. You then can make your own PDF after a few months and this will be your personal lecture. By the way : If you like a post or learned some thing from it, there is a thank bottom to it. That is the only way here in the forum, we can show our respect to the poster and say thank you to him for her/his help in teaching us some thing new. I wish you a very nice Christmas and a happy new year.

Take care and welcome in the forum.

Dear Friends,

As we grow along our trading professions we need to change gears. I have been thinking over this for quite sometime now (even shared a few things with Dan) and have decided on the few things to shift my activity to a level higher.

In trading, as I see there are two functions, intellect and non-intellect. The intellect one does the research, analysis and gives the trading calls, while the non-intellect does the execution, operational part of trading. Generally a trader does both. Doing both together may effect the quality of outcome (in the earlier years this is one of the primary reasons for losses).

To take care of the non-intellect function, I have decided to hire a person whose only job will revolve around execution and related activity. He will also be responsible for all operational functions related to trading. This Assiatant is more like an exclusive broker who takes calls and executes your order. The execution speed which is the key is very fast, also the operational functions viz net, power back up, software updates etc etc are taken care by the assistant.

This arrangement will also give me a lot of free time to persue my other interests.

Initially I thought that the profile of this assistant should be an youngster around 25 years or less, but later zeroed in on an elderly person. Time invested to train this person would be large but the longitivity of his continuance with me would be more as lesser opportunities are available after a certain age. Cost wise there is no difference.

The main aspect I thought here was long term association because the biggest risk involved is once I get use to this system of trading, and if this person quits then it may become difficult to get back to the current system, also to get a new person and train him would need time.

Request suggestions and feedback before I go ahead in this direction.

Regards,
