Gandhar,

I wanted to ask u about Wolfe Waves' performance. I one of the old threads, it is mentioned that success rate is 90% with Reward:Risk of 3:1. What are your results?

Here's the link: http://www.traderji.com/technical-analysis/12686-kiss-like-mcgrath-7.html#post92180
Maybe he is too good a trader, or maybe he is just exaggerating, but even for such an exaggeration, then system results should be great...
quite good but entries and exits and not my piece of cake a1b1 should be the right one to ask i have multiple trading system syndrome with multiple timeframe syndrome
:D:(
a1b1trader brother : Some of the posts addressed to you got buried. Please post your views when possible. :)
The success of wolfe waves depends from time to time.
Sometime it fails miserably, and sometime it hits the target easily.

Like there are many -ww pending currently but market is just moving on the higher side.

BTW
I also follow some other forum and use to post ww in it.
And I posted 24 wolfe charts, both for equities and indices, during 15-22 January 2014, in which all but one met the target.
And the one that didnt meet the target, was an extension of the same chart ( 2 targets in 1 chart)

I may add that
Normally I only look for ww in Nifty Future.
I do not search for WWs in stocks, as it requires a lot of time.
But sometime I have to look for ww in stocks also, when asked by my friends.

So on the whole, I think, the success rate is about 75-80% (within ETA). And more (85-87%) if you do not consider ETA, that is, target is met after ETA ( may be 1 week later or 1 month later, delay immaterial)

I may add that I have not done any study about it and all the results are tentative.

Hi Guys,

Hope feb went good for everyone lets get ready to march on march.

Lots of soh days for me in feb nearly 6 days of break even with soh included, but nevertheless feb was a good month.

For those who are struggling with narrow ranges I would suggest to go through pratap bhai's thread where he had mentioned how to avoid sideways. Believe me it works awesome. With that simple technique( Thanks augubhai for your advice to use that technique ), I am so happy about trading results. I also had my own methods to filter neutral markets. So, a great learning for me this feb month thanks Pratap bhai and augubhai and ST for the help. I am amazed how my perspective is going on changing, initially I thought market was easy. Then, I got mauled by markets, then slowly learned and was in profits, but still got beat up by sideways, then asked ST some 20 times about how he avoids sidewayss :p, he had answered it the first time itself so I said to myself "Idiot re read the post and understand it". Then came the most toughest task, I had a method to trade trending markets, I had a method to avoid neutral markets and a method to avoid sideways markets. But, how can I maximize my profits when markets are transitioning from trending to trading or trending to neutral, damn, this was tough, but Columbus bhai came into rescue here, his thread on BB, along with some more ideas extracted from another forex forum, helped me to maximize profits. Next task for me was to stay on sidelines whenever market is not trending and trade when market is trending, here I noticed that its very easy to trade sideways market once you identify it is sideways, so I was able to easily design a method for trading sideways market, thanks to Raghavcc for this which was the core concept of this methodlogy, which is inturn derived from ST stoch method and Columbus BB method.

Thanks guys a big thanks to one and all, just felt like posting this, this post might seem gibberish to those who have crossed my stage or before my stage, but whoever is in my stage, who is already making money from markets and needs to become a skilled trader, will surely find my post of some use, atleast they can get an idea of what might work and will reduce the slope of their learning curve.
