Hi Guys,
Hope feb went good for everyone lets get ready to march on march.
Lots of soh days for me in feb nearly 6 days of break even with soh included, but nevertheless feb was a good month.
1. For those who are struggling with narrow ranges I would suggest to go through Pratap bhai's thread where he had mentioned how to avoid sideways. Believe me it works awesome. With that simple technique
2. Thanks Augubhai for your advice to use that technique ), I am so happy about trading results.
3. I also had my own methods to filter neutral markets.
So, a great learning for me this feb month thanks Pratap bhai and augubhai and ST for the help. I am amazed how my perspective is going on changing, initially I thought market was easy. Then, I got mauled by markets, then slowly learned and was in profits, but still got beat up by sideways, then
4. asked ST some 20 times about how he avoids sidewayss
, he had answered it the first time itself so I said to myself "Idiot re read the post and understand it".
5.Then came the most toughest task, I had a method to trade trending markets, I had a method to avoid neutral markets and a method to avoid sideways markets. But, how can I maximize my profits when markets are transitioning from trending to trading or trending to neutral, damn, this was tough, but Columbus bhai came into rescue here, his thread on BB, along with some more ideas extracted from another forex forum, helped me to maximize profits.
6. Next task for me was to stay on sidelines whenever market is not trending and trade when market is trending, here I noticed that its very easy to trade sideways market once you identify it is sideways, so I was able to easily design a method for trading sideways market, thanks to Raghavcc for this which was the core concept of this methodology, which is in turn derived from ST stoch method and Columbus BB method.
Thanks guys a big thanks to one and all, just felt like posting this, this post might seem gibberish to those who have crossed my stage or before my stage, but whoever is in my stage, who is already making money from markets and needs to become a skilled trader, will surely find my post of some use, at least they can get an idea of what might work and will reduce the slope of their learning curve.
