After a vote on account which had lots of financial adjustments, the market did not go down much. This was the first bullish indication today. Looking at the market movement my view is market will not go down much but till election we will see a steady rise with a few corrections in between. But market going below even 6000 looks difficult now. If BJP comes with clear majority, then we may see a fast continuation of upmove after the elections. But till elections, I am not expecting any big fall unless the external factors decide to do otherwise.

Market progressing on expected lines.

35 per lot per leg becomes 70rs for both legs as it is +other taxes becoming 85-90 rs !! I am paying 100 rs . little higher ! but not bluffing !

TX
My first option trade was with HDFCsec. Their brok was 100 per LOT !

First ever Nifty option trade got me a Gross profit of about ~ 12,000 and brok + taxes turned out to be ~ 8,500.

So I called up my branch manager and asked him to reduce my brok, he said you have just made one trade. you need to give me more "turnover" and then we could consider reducing it to about 75 per LOT.

I thought, if I were in front of this guy, I would def "turn over" and give him darshan of my musharraf.:D

After I hung up, closed HDFCsec A/c, went straight to zerodhas website and opened an A/c with them.

Im surprised that with so many discount brokers around, you still choose to pay such massive brokerage ... !

Hi Nirav,
Firstly I trade very little in options.Secondly the hangups in TT are practically nill while day trading,so I prefer it.Thirdly I will try to reduce the brkg talking to them lets see what they say. 'Achievers' seems interesting do they operate on NEST?
Tx:)

True, better to spend on brokerage, than a losing position in the trade due to terminal hanging.

Cheap Brokerage does not mean Frequent Hangups of Terminals. I have been using RKG ODIN & Zerodha ZT from 2 - 3 yrs. No Issues faced.

Btw RKG charges Rs.25 per Lot totally for buy & sell of Options. Zerodha Rs. 50 totally for Buy & Sell Options irrespective of Lot.

No. Both are avoidable. If you are a day trader with 4 to 8 trades daily, you must went to discount brokers. If you are a big amount traders with less trades your terminal must has no issues. So decide the best because you play with your hard earned money.

There was no hangups in achiievers. I am with them from past six months. They provide NOW but not NEST. And NOW too good for trading.

In achiievers futures or options are in fixed brokerage, in irrespective of either quantity or orders. If you have fixed plan with any broker, you just have to pay them only service charges.
