The law is very clear. That you cannot apply for the second card when you already have one. Therefore, the onus is on you to stick to the law.
why they dont check is another question altogther bhai :) . Lets call it babugiri.
Nobody applied.. they just come and give the card.. :) I have seen neighbours with 15 cards :) lol... not sure whether it can be misused because nobody accepts it as proof anyways :)

You are contradicting yourself.
if biometrics is the problem then how can you support it for giving govt benefits to the poor?
We have count less cards before ration card /BPL card ? whats wrong with that ??
How can biometrics/adhaar be justified for giving benifits to the poor and not to other people for other usecases ??
if it works for them then it would work for others too?

What you stated initially is exactly the problem.
PAN should have been mandatory and we would not need adhaar.
The reality is now we have 95% people having adhaar and may be 5-10% people having PAN
Thats exactly the reason we need Adhaar.
I am not supporting biomentrics but we need universal auth mechanism.

today you are profiled by Google/Facebook they know more things about you than you know yourself.Put some laws and secure who and what can access data from Adhaar and how they use it but limiting its usecase to govt is not the answer.

The amount of money and time we wasted on adhaar as a nation is going to waste.

BTW you are still needed to link adhaar to PAN for tax and PAN is linked to all so yes theoretically you can be still be tracked/hacked nothing is changing.
I usually dread to have these conversations on the internet coz it always end up in a fight. If I voice my opinions, someone will get angry and the whole situation becomes unpleasant. I will simply end it by saying that if you are happy with aadhar, you can rejoice because its still there. Those people that opposed it will also rejoice as court disallowed a few things. Both sides win. everyone happy :)

As far as people doing nanga naach on facebook/twitter/instagram, I would not comment on people's preferences.

Authentication Mechanism.
Username and Password is used. Here authentication depends on something you know.
SmartCard,KeyFob : Here it depends on something you have.
Biometrics : Here it depends on who you are.
But the issue with Biometrics is it very error prone and rejection rate is more.Hence it is usually used in places where high security is needed and rejection is not a concern. But keeping people out on welfare scheme is different.

Just my two cents since InfoSec is my profession.

Perfect day for becoming an 'Options Writer'. Second trial successful with decent result. Will try the same next time with double quantity.

Needless to say, premiums are abnormally high. No point in buying options for today. Complete paradise for option writers.
As I mentioned earlier you could have held it a little longer. Since the BE was 500 points either side.
