@Smart_trade Very true about making charges for ornaments. I keep telling all my folks to buy Gold biscuits/coins rather than buy ornaments. BUT, they go buy ornaments anways and keep it in the locker and not even wear it

I have somehow convinced my family to buy 24 carat coins/lagdi

Somethings you cannot argue or convince how much ever you try. Buying gold ornaments is one of them.

Gift your wife 5 Bajaj Finance,HDFC Bank or Titan and make her monitor the price every week...she wont buy gold again...

For wearing in marriages etc ladies might have some gold but in India we go on accumalating gold and keep paying locker rent to safekeep it..
