I had to go to 3 flower shops to get a rose for my wife packed in plastic. Try giving your girl a rose which is not packed in plastic, you are not getting any pleasant looks. Paper wrapping is torn because of thorns.

Pack it in colourful gift paper wrapped around the stem instead of one time use plastics...and remove thorns before packing.....always think of better alternatives...
