Hi pkjha30 ,
Today morning I tried the latest version of u'r utlity.I faced an issue.I downloaded only NSE indices for last year . Issue is like this...
May 30th Data ...
^CRSLDX=^NIFTYMIDCP=2593.75=^NSEI^NSED(All have value 2593.75)
I don't know what is causing the problem..I had converted using MSDownloader as I was unable to convert from u'r utility using folder options.Maybe I had selected all and converted all at a time.
What is the exact procedure for converting only Indices data is downloaded ?
In evening I will try redownloading and converting and update you.
Thanks for the utility.
Raju
Hi raju
There is
no need to convert Indices data .It is downloaded and saved in Indices folder in MS compatible format i.e. symbol, date, ohlcv with MS compatible header . For each indices , data is stored in separate files.
This is the output format for indices
<ticker>,<Date>,<Open>,<High>,<Low>,<Close>,<Volume>,
CNX100,1/2/2007,3853.25,3884.85,3840.45,3878.1,0,
CNX100,1/3/2007,3892.05,3899.7,3857.9,3895.15,0,
CNX100,1/4/2007,3907.3,3907.3,3856.25,3864.1,0,
CNX100,1/5/2007,3864.8,3885.85,3844.7,3857.55,0,
CNX100,1/8/2007,3839.5,3839.5,3793.95,3808.85,0,
CNX100,1/9/2007,3827.4,3837.9,3766.9,3783.2,0,
CNX100,1/10/2007,3780.4,3780.4,3722.75,3729.5,0,
CNX100,1/11/2007,3717.75,3823.75,3717.75,3815.1,0,
CNX100,1/12/2007,3845.7,3924.15,3845.7,3919.45,0,
Conversion from folder option is dicey as it may not correctly recognize the input format.
