EOD Download/ Convert from NSE and BSE

hi pankaj,
i have found two problems-
1)the input sequence does contain del_percent column while converting from files and after rebulding from files.
the default format shuld be Symbol,date,open,high,low,close,volume,delivery-volume,delivery-percent
2) symbol for NIFTY is S&P cnx nifty but the symbol changing procedure is not accepting & character.
as regards your request mentioned earlier i am sorry to say i am not a computer wizard like you mere bhai. my knowledge is limited to cut and paste only. hope you will continue your endeviour to help us as before.finally i want you to publish a complete version with a help file very soon.

1. if you have selected del-percent then it should become default for future conversion. even when rebuilding from files. So first you have to convert NSE EOD files with that option to make it default. and close the programme. next time that should come automatically.
2. S&P CNX NIFTY is name of the indices Symbol is NIFTY or ^NSEI or NSEI or any similar thing. & is reserved hence not allowed except in names. In future & or any special character will not be allowed as they would hinder database operations especially SQL.
Further , name is already used in one column and if you select that it will be shown in converted files but then you might get names of company instead of symbols, not much use having Associated Cement Company Ltd etc for charting.
Also if you tinker too much with symbol name changes , you might end up corrupting database. Right now what was provided was as per your request.

Regarding delivery percent not showing it was an oversight. In BIN folder open file NSEHEaderFormat.txt and add following line
DeliveryPercent,<DeliveryPercent>,DeliveryPercent,13
at the end and save and close.
Delivery Percent should show when converting from files.
If you want to change anything here this format means like this
KeyWord,MetaHeader,Default Header, Header Index No.
You can change MetaHeader and DefaultHeader as you like. But Keyword and index should be left untouched.
