EOD Download/ Convert from NSE and BSE

Then Select Table name EOD_MCX in the previous page

All field Names will be visible

Select the sequences from the drop down fields.

Click Retrieve All symbols

Click OK

Again Click OK and you will be dropped into AMI

All symbols will be visible in left pane and if sufficient symbols tick data are imported then you will see graph and other indicators.

but in amibroker we need OHLC here we get OH and last

you can get sequence changed in advanced Input/output settings and save header for future use.

Symbol pattern follows that adopted for FNO data. Symbols are appended with Suffix based on Expiry dates so as to avoid clash of data for same trade dates and maintain continuity of data for same series for each symbol. Since graphs are plotted for trade dates and not for expiry dates.There are ample discussion on this aspect in this thread.

For the same reason, there is no formatting of the expiry dates dates within the program.Only trade dates are formatted. However if expiry dates are also to be uniformly formatted then that could be done.

Hope I am making some sense, as I have not idea about commodity market.

Downloader can download whatever it is programmed to download. As of now it can download historical data for BSE scrips through portfolio /watchlist(BSE).

I have not specifically worked on downloading historical data one scrip alone as such a need was never projected,

Will certainly think about it..

because there is no colom for expiry date, if i skip this then all three data overlaped due to same symbal and date .
