Hi, this is a wonderful piece for downloading EOD historical data for MCX, NSE and BSE.

But there is a problem in downloading EOD for NCDEX. After clicking download, a dialog box comes up saying file is downloaded. but unable to find out where is file. I have checked the path but the file is not there.

Eodlc not visible , What to do now?

Click Machine data Sources Tab in ODBC dialogue page. You will fine eEODDlc there. It is created at the time of installation. however, if it is not available then goto Option>>Database Admin>>Create DSN and provide a name for dsn when asked for. Once dialogue page is closed then again go to ODBC dialogues of AMI, you will find it listed under Machine Data Sources tab. Select that.

Hope this solves your problem.

There may be original key for NCDEX which works for me. For you ,you have to delete this key from Options>>Delete Keys>>Delete NCDEX Key . Then try to download again.

As of now it doesn't need dotnet.

Your error is related to missing mdw file.In data folder you will see two files, one eoddlc.mdb and another is eoddlc.mdw. This second file is missing so you are getting this error.
In full installation this file should be present.

However you can download data.zip file and extract eoddlc.mdw.

However, I have not tested it on vista. So don't know if you will face some other problem. If it doesn't work I may be of limited help.

But just in case , it works , let me know too .

sir i have gone through it thoroughly all the 73 pages of this thread i have downloaded and install and did all the suggestions but still i am getting error message plz help me. Sir plz tell me the which are all the files as i am the first time installing it and from where i could get all the required files as i am unable to get it from rediff brief case also. The existing files which i am able to download and install gives glimps of window for fraction of second. Plz help me in providing solution.

On first page when i click downloading it directs to rediff folder, but the folder is empty.
Is the download not available yet ?if there is other link to download plz let me know
