EOD Download/ Convert from NSE and BSE

I tried on my copy but did not get any unzip error.
Can you give exact error detail and may be error.log file to analyse. it is in /BIn directory.

May be your version of unzip32 is corrupted somehow so replace it by downloading from
http://sourceforge.net/projects/infozip/files/UnZip 6.x (latest)/UnZip 6.0/unzip60.zip/download
latest version is version 6.

Copy extracted unzip32.dll to /windows/system32/ directory and

register it using command "regsvr32.exe unzip32.dll" (without quotes ) in run dialog box of start button.(refer to first post in the thred)


Only bse eod and pr.zip download is using unzip module so nse should function.

If above doesn't work, let me know.

I have updated to download current EOD Commodity for MCX.

file Version is 2.2.29

Note

So just download the zip file and extract it to your application folder and replace the old exe file.

tested on XP and expected to work on Win 98.

Vista is not tested but it should work in compatibility mode.

Windows 7 is out now only so can't say.
Brief functionalities reference for new members, if they use it......

Greatly appreciate your efforts in providing the trading community with the data downloading utility. It is indeed a very useful tool with extensive capabilities.

I landed upon your utility while looking out for a MCX eod data downloader, I am not sure where I am going wrong, but I have downloaded and installed your program as you have outlined above. the program is starts up nicely but when I click the downloads button, nothing happens I get a blank page without any options..

I am using Vista and tried the compatibility mode as well..

Not sure, if I have missed out something in the installation.

Thanks in advance and once again greatly appreciate your efforts.

I checked up with vista installatio. it does not work. It appears that download components used in this programme are no longer natively available in Vista as it has moved to dotnet framework for internet connectivity. So programme needs to be upgraded for Vista and...........

Dear Pankaj,

1) File downloaded from the sourceforge doesnt contains unzip32.dll and when I tried with other such files also causing error.

2) From 01-Dec-2009 NSE too have started bhavcopy by Zip. Can you please assist as usual

Thats because NSE has starting delivering bhavcopies in ZIP packs from Dec 1 2009 and most programmers have not updated their softwares.
