Please explain littlebit of todays trade.I unable to understand it.here you used 2 bar rule?If so there is only one wrb.Or it is PL.But chart is not showing like pivot.Please clear my doubt sir..

Sharekhan is also having Annual Maintenance Scheme under which you can get Trade Tiger free and brokerage will be also reduced. Charting and analysis facility is good.

seniors......can u elaborate the difference b/w the use of 2 bars rule in the 2 situations......

saint sir i asked u the same ques a few days bak on 29 jan also......is it just go with the eye.....

can we have a discussion on these 2 types of reversals.........

personally i used the pl on 29 as stop....which didnt get hit and we had a new pl....so in todays situation was using pl of 30 jan correct......or 2 bars rule.....??

also today's gap down was not below our pl stop....so use of 1st 5 min is justified ?

actually 1 side its saying sumthing...on other side d opposite some confusion here..... please seniors guide....so that all can understand this well.......

When we have a pivot,we always go for the pivot......when we have no pivot,2 bars rule......we have a pivot on 28th,not going to micromanage it and raise stops to one bar higher when we have a pivot nearby.On 3oth,no pivots,a straight move up with a mini pivot in between corresponding to 2 bars back.Therefore 2 bars rule.

Neeraj,my friend,have already stated this in this very thread today........please do have a look at that post again and the main thread.Nothing shocking or out of the world done today......Same old stuff,again and again.

Cannot do anything about it,my friend,if the first bar low corresponds to our stops,and the break of which triggers our SAR.Nothing to do with gap against,for,pl stops,5min low,justified,etc etc and all that.

The Gaps Rules

Case 1:
Holding Long Position, Visual Gap Up:

Default Rule: No change in SAR; Add above the first 5 Min high + f

Exception: Gap up after prolonged up move with WRBs look out for it being exhaustion gap reverse below first 5 min low - Big F.

Case 2:
Holding Long Position, Visual Gap Down; First 5 Minutes Low is below SAR:

Default Rule: Shift the SAR to First 5 Minutes Low - Big F, add above the First 5 Minute High + f

Exception: Not Applicable

Case 3:
Holding Short Position, Visual Gap Down:

Default Rule: No change in SAR; Add below the first 5 Min Low - f

Exception: Gap down after prolonged down move with WRBs, look out for it being exhaustion gap reverse above first 5 min High + Big F.

Case 4:
Holding Short Position, Visual Gap Up: First 5 Minutes High is above SAR:

SAINT Sir has already done that, don't know how/why you missed it, its just one post above mine ...

When we have a pivot,we always go for the pivot......

There seems to be ambiguity prevailing after so many months, even though Saint has tried hard to elucidate these rules. Pl. start new thread with only charts for each rule because it is said a picture is better than 1000words. No body should post anything else in that thread(No praises.if you feel like thanking any contributor click on reputation tab and express your views).It will act as ready reckoner.
