Re: 60min Flow Trades for the Week: Saint's Method

Great charts and discussions, thanks Pattel ( note the capital P),neeraj,Columbus,Bee,Sri...., Thank you for responding to my request and coming out with charts and discussions which will certainly help newcomers in understanging and gaining confidence in trading this method.

Thank you once again....all wonderful people with great minds.... I am fortunate to be amongst you all .

Best Wishes,

Smart_trade
No problem ST. If it's helping atleast few, i would be more than happy to post charts every week (which i trade). Lets carry on the tradition of teaching others, who wants to learn fishing.:thumb:

Re: Live discussion Saint's - 60 minute flow

Derivatives are always Business Income (no matter for what duration). Equity Intraday is Speculative Income.
yes I got a final confirmation from the tax consultant
Equity Intraday is speculative income tax incurred is flat 30%

Equity Delivery -- two categories Short term capital gain (less than 1 year) and Long term capital gain (1 year or more)

FNO -- Whether intraday or delivery it comes under business income and tax deduction is as per the slab system. However he told me that some tools and manipulations can be done to avoid some part of the tax but some changes are required in trading methodologies .. one example he quoted is if we can prove that the only purpose to trade in future was hedging then some tax can be avoided .. how is it possible will be discussed in next meeting.

The another important point to note is that loss can be carry forward for next 8years but can only be settled with same knid of transactions eg loss in equity intraday can only be settled with profit in Equity Intraday .. it cannot be settled with Long term or short term equity transaction.

thanks
