the pivot low from yesterday seems to be gaining in importance as the NF is just hovering above it forming few minor pivots.

Hi trader111 if you are around can we think same as you have pointed in this messege that pivot 4591 is gaining more importance now

Myself still using 4669 as stop, last time we used such pivot we got whipsawed twice

And if u see August NF trading with another round of analysis, it wiped off nearly 300 points of possible profits (turned profits into net loss as of now). Though this behaviour may not repeat this time or anytime later.

Guys I am using Viratech for my 60 min. charts but they are giving data at intervals 10.30,11.30, etc. so though this thing helps by avoiding 1st 5 min. bar & last 30 min. bar but problem is that I dont see bars as you people do.

Has anyone got a solution to this

ABAN made a pivot high below the 2 bar high! So this is the point to reverse !

U are using there EOD with hourly feeds or RT feeds!!! In case it is RT feed some solutin should be possible, but in case of EOD data with hourly updates, it is , I think not possible to do any thing about it!!!

What SW are u using to view the data!!!

A long NF position was reversed below a minor pivot of 4532 which was formed on 6th Aug and triggered on 7th. This short position was reversed on 11 Aug near end of day at 4641 due to opening high which pushed up the reversal SL. This long position from 4641 was reversed to short on 12th. These whipsaws wiped out nearly 300 NF points.

had we not reversed long to short below 4532 minor pivot, our long trade would have survived till 12th aug and reversed to short on 12th only.

But then, Saint says to go with flow, not just PH and PL. And so we will do.
