Take a look at the 60 minutes chart!!! The 4 PM bar yesterday has a low of 3805, and the high of opening bar today is 3819!!! We cannot term it as a visual gap!!! Moreover in case of a visual gap, todays gap is in the direction of our trade so we wait for a PH to reverse!!! We do not use gap to reverse!!
Gap is used only when we have a continuous trade in our direction for a few days, wrb's in our direction and then a BIG gap in our direction... we consider reversing using the Gap...we also have a PH very much in sight, PH always superseeds any other level of SAR!!!!
Thanks rkkarnani,

Can please explain a bit too about the statement you said.

In September we were short from around 8th Sep.... on 18th the mkt opens with a BIG gap down in our direction. (It had gap ed downon 15th but the opening high was not breached) On 18th we reversed our trade above the high of opening 5 minutes bar!!!
In present scenario we were again short for a number of days, had there beena BIG gap down today, we would have gone long above the morning high !!
