Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

I got out when 1.15 Ph + SF broken around 2.15 PM as 30 min chart was in green mode at that time.(Again my view)

I meant about your long "entry" lvganghi.
As I said earlier, 15 min had at PH at 3669 in 13:15 bar. 13:30 and 14:00 bars are having high at that point. 60 min chart after doji, started moving in green along with 30 min chart. Hence I am not aggressive. Only as per rules. May be my interpretation of rules may be wrong. I will be happy for any corrective comments.

Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

This was most certainly a bad day :( Although I'm still papertrading.I'm a learner and such days really discourage me :( ...But one thing I appreciate is the high spirits you guys have. You end the day with a smile, whether it was a loss making day or a profitable day,coz you know you followed the rules. That's something I really respect
All the best for tomorrow and the coming days and I hope such days are rare like the blue moon..:)
Cheers!
Yes Rahul,
May be we lost today but we know that we will gain in comming days as we follow the system blindly and this system cant make you unhappy at the end of the month.yes its as robust as it is.
cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes sir, though i have not reversed consedering 15 mnt pivt high in 1.15 bar ,waited till the hod +sf broken to book loss, but it seems we could have revershed at that pnt bcz 30 mnt chart also signalling the bullish pattern,(14.00 bar).

ST sir, vineet or anyone else plz comments on this as per rule what should have been the ideal place to reverse under this circumstances????
thanks

Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

I remember few days back Saint Sir clarified on taking entries/ reversal on TFA. In that he had given just one example for TFA to be used when Higher time frames are giving reversal signals ( as per candlestick pattern reading ). For exampe.. doji at the end of uptrend or downtrend.

I am not able to put exactly in proper words what I want to convey but if any one can search that post and post the link here, it will be very useful.

I will request Saint Sir to put further clarification on Time frame reversals.

Thanks and regards
Manoj

I think what he want to say that don't use TFA each and every time .

We have to take position on TFA only when higher time frames are giving reversal signals as per " Candlestick Patten Reading ".

For example... Doji, Morning Star, Evening Star, pearsing Pattern , Hammer, inverted hammer.... and all these patterns in 60 or 30 TF ( especially when security is already moved far in one direction.... as these signals are important only when there is something to reverse.. trend..)supported by Pivot on 15 TF.

This is my view.

Saint Sir /ST Sir please clarify.

Thanks and regards
Manoj

Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

I think I goofed up today, but got away with it. Took the 11:30 bar as a WRB and reversed over it. Closed long in slight profit.

Dont know, just went by the eye, and it seemed a little bigger than all the bars till that time. Now when I check, other bars have a range less than 15 points and this had 24.... should not have gone long over it. :(

Any thoughts on WRB identification....

Thanks.
