Hope the day went well for everyone here...........simple day,one short taken if Wide Filters were hit.For those whose filters are wider than everyone else's and not hit,no trades today on NF.

For those whose filters were hit,and went short,nothing else happened the whole day and finally exit at EOD .

A little piece of advice:Mix and Match the MiniFlow with some Ambush plays.Days like these can be extremely frustrating,but Ambush trades in TATA STEEL and STERLITE got us super gains.Then there are other days when the MiniFlow rocks,and Ambush is just so-so........Good to play both at once.

Please explain method of ambush trade hence I not now aboutit.I am trading in mini and 60 flow as of now.

Hello ST sir,

Could you pls post the basic ground rules of Ambush. From what Vineet has explained, it is more like free style... little or no rules,just that it is done in 10 min TF.

The 11 am bar low was ...... 3663.20
The 11.30 am bar low was....3636.00
Difference is .................. = 27.20 points.
2) THE QUESTION BEFORE ME IS THAT CAN A WIDE FILTER BE OF 27 POINTS OR MORE.
3) I am taking 18 as my 'MF' and 9 as the 'sf'.Now this has to be increased by 50%.
4) Please guide us on the issue of wide filter of above 25 points and when and under what circumstances to use such filters.:clapping::clapping::clapping:

He is suggesting we Ambush other stocks, not miniflow them. I don't think Ambush has moving filters. Lets wait and find out.... I have asked seniors some crucial questions on Ambush once they get answered I shall post them here.... It will help us all get started with Ambush-ing, Anything and Everything

In the meantime let us 'google' for some ideas on the subject.
I don't think I shall trade tomorrow until the issue of "wide filters" as stated by 'saint sir' is clear to me.:clapping:

What wide filters Jatayooji... nothing major has changed, why would you want to stop trading... you are doing perfectly well... albeit, I wish you'd follow miniflow more rigidly.

Somehow I am afraid that i do not fully appreciate any of the reasoning given so far on the board.The Post mortem is likely to throw up some explanations
2) Vineet had made one observation about the 15 min 'ph' at 1:15 pm that has an answer so far.
3) For those of us who did not notice it, today was a "No Trade" day. Ambush trade possible as accepted by all.I don't know much of it.:clapping::clapping::clapping:

1) Vineet was saying the right thing, as the hourly bar had a major tail

2) You are right again... it was a no trade day if you were using moving filters larger than 17.

If you dont gel well with the TFA part... then don't go too deep into it till you are ready. It will not majorly affect your bottomline... but suspending trading just might... because a really big day is around the corner.

Jatayoo ji,
the low is taken from 10.00 bar low means 3653 & 11.30 bar low is 3636 means diff of 17 points..

i used to have MF of 20 points in my early day..

hope it clear to you now
