Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

Somehow I am afraid that i do not fully appreciate any of the reasoning given so far on the board. The Post mortem is likely to throw up some explanations
2) Vineet had made one observation about the 15 min 'ph' at 1:15 pm that has an answer so far.
3) For those of us who did not notice it, today was a "No Trade" day. Ambush trade possible as accepted by all.I don't know much of it.:clapping:
when did i made that today ....:confused:

i didn't trade today...

Vineet u have not traded today fr some personal reason or smelling something wrong with the market ;)
some meeting in office...

nothing like that ...if nothing is there in mini there is always something in ambush specially in stocks...

a inside day in daily , so we may have a brakeout\down tomm.

Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

Hello ST sir,

Could you pls post the basic ground rules of Ambush. From what Vineet has explained, it is more like free style... little or no rules, just that it is done in 10 min TF.

ST
Ambush trades are taken on lower timeframe...10 min for NF and others...for highlly volatile counters like Bank Nifty, take 5 min.

It is not a freestyle trading...far from it.It basically trades in the direction of higher timeframe and takes trades on breakouts/breakdowns from long accumalation/distribution,then patterns like flags, triangles, wedges or a higher PH/PL for buying and lower PL/PH for selling...then keep tight stoploss and book gains on first sign of move halting....

Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

Dear Saint Sir
The 11 am bar low was ...... 3663.20
The 11.30 am bar low was....3636.00
Difference is .................. = 27.20 points.

2) THE QUESTION BEFORE ME IS THAT CAN A WIDE FILTER BE OF 27 POINTS OR MORE.
3) I am taking 18 as my 'MF' and 9 as the 'sf'.Now this has to be increased by 50%.

4) Please guide us on the issue of wide filter of above 25 points and when and under what circumstances to use such filters.:clapping::clapping::clapping:
Jatayoo ji,
the low is taken from 10.00 bar low means 3653 & 11.30 bar low is 3636 means diff of 17 points..

i used to have MF of 20 points in my early day..

hope it clear to you now

vineet
Jatayoo,Vineet has already answered your question.......hope it is clear. There is no reason for you to have raised your stops to 11 am low, stops where they are at 10am low.If filters are 17 and above, you had a No Trade Day.If filters were lesser, you were short and out stopped.

Only 1 Trade and that too stopped with no adds should mean nothing to your account or psyche, except a very frustrating day.

Now,now,my friend............everything about me in trading is bounded by rules and exceptions.Would this be any different?:);)

Saint

ps;Amit,I know your deep respect for ST..........you are now signing off as ST as well.
