You can also contact Param Pujaniyey Sri Sri Asaram Bapu Ji.
But you will have to wait as Baba is on a holy mission to enlighten the criminals in jails and bring them back to path of humanity...:D:D:D
Contact him as soon as Bapu comes out ending his "leela" in jail.....

Till then, don't bother much, it's normal what you are experiencing.
This guy also had the same problem:

I have started to day trade from yesterday, but I was uneasy during the entire process. i kept looking the price and was nervous. I had properly tested my sytem earlier and its has proper entries, exits ans Sl. Even yesterday was a good day, but I am worried about being nervous, my heart beat increased, I felt breathlessness and there was some mental strain.what to do? shall i stop day trading or its a maatter of first few days of trading and then I will become used to the pressure :eek::eek:

I trade only with one lot of Nifty and I wont loose my daily bread if I loose my capital (1 Lakh)
I don't know why no one said this
There's a conflict in your statements and that conflict is the root cause of your problem

You only trade 1 lot, you have tested the system, it means your system should be profitable.

You also said you don't lose your bread if this 1 lac is lost

You don't actually believe all of this in your heart, you are just saying this, because you have read all of this as a requirement to be a trader. But you haven't accepted all of this deep down in your heart, you will not lose your bread but you will hate if 1 lac goes. But in 1 lot of trading................ You will have to be really amazingly bad bad trader to lose this money. You can be in loss but 1 lac in highly unlikely to be lost.

I suggest you to keep trading as a day trader............ With clear understanding that you are doing it for experience only, ultimately you will have to move to higher time frame but more day trading will give you experience, you will have to learn with your mistakes........ Markets are a fractal, same patters repeat on all time frames, you will get experience as a day trader there's no doubt about that

The inner conflict thing can be erased by you and you alone................. Your beliefs are not profound........ You say something but don't believe in what you say. Accept all of this as an actual belief.

You shouldn't keep changing the systems, you are more prone to keep changing the system as I understand, because you have inner conflicts, check your system thoroughly, check as many as you like but choose only one, don't be disheartened if it doesn't work everyday, because there will be days it will rock better than others, so don't worry

There is only one way...Hire a Clerk. Hand over your system to him and ask him to fire Orders as per the system..That's it. Review the performance only after the month. You just do one thing..Withdrawal of profits from the bank after the month:thumb::thumb:

Thank you all for the kind and helpful suggesstions.

I now think that although I have committed 1 lakh as a risk capital but in real life I am averse to any kind of loss therefore I am nervous. I feel let me have a bad day or two in the market where market whips me like anything then I may become use to play with risk.
I feel that One try tau banta hai market mein I dont want to regret in the end that I didnt tried. At the end of of the day I am not betting my house on it, and its not my only source of income. Agar koi businezz karta tau usmein bhi tau capex karna hota and that may or may not yield profits.

Let me use the advices given my seniors and start again afresh post this sharad period in Navratra

Thanks all

Some strong positives due to which you are a candidate for trading:

1. You respect your money. You value it. Hence, are very likely to take stop losses religiously.

2. You are God-Fearing, means you have the mental-support to fight "Greed".

3. You are mature. Probably in late 30s.

Now, If you want to save that 1 Lakh and 5 years of anguish, then read the follow line with heart... sincerely.

Find a Mentor.

I would recommend Smart_Trade. He is on this Forum, find him. And listen to every word he says... like it is the word of God. He will make you a confident trader.

(If you find/prefer another mentor and he is from this forum, please run the idea through me.)

Best Wishes.

Hmm,

Only one advice from my side. "DON'T TRY TO SEARCH TRADE, WAIT FOR YOUR SETUP TO GIVE SIGNAL."

Lots of time when market goes in one side and we don't have any trade, we get our tendency back to trade some how and burn our fingers.

I am not much in the place at the moment and the coming weeks for traveling reasons, but took quickly my time to make that post, which I think could help you after seeing your thread and problem. There are lots of post in the psychological section of the forum, so you may also have a look over there.

Any way: Take it easy and here something to laugh for the weekend, so you should be relaxed on Monday. It is an advertisement video clip, made out of the true live story from Roy Sullivan which was hit in his live 7 times by lightning:

What can You expect from your Mentor.

1. He may NOT give you a trading system or personal time. But, if he is agreeing to mentor you, then he may give you the first steps to take, which is very important. You may initially doubt him, but believe me he has been through your stage and knows exactly what medicine is best. If you are such a personality don't look for a mentor.

2. If you live in a near by city, then you are fortunate. Go meet him at his convenience and mood.

3. Read the books he recommends.

4. In the final stages, before you are ready to cut the umbilical cord, ask him to review your trading system or a general trading approach.

5. Select your Guru after utter serious consideration and then fully trust him. Else, you will be lost.

Good Luck.

PS: Hope ST da is reading. He may soon have his hands full :)
