I will not see a close below 11999 in my lifetime.Assuming that i live at least 20 yrs more.
Amit sir with all due respect to you, you really shouldn't be saying things like that it might give new comers the wrong idea.
The Japanese nikkei went from 35000 to 10000 and all along people thought this would never happen, same for the Taiwanses TSEC, these are several more examples. Before the markets bottomed out in 1929 and plunged 20% in one day in 1987 just because it had never happened before and the chances of it happening were negligible people assumed it would never happen.
The only lesson we can learn from this is never write off something simply because the chances of it happening are negligible.
The historical fact is in the markets anything is possible but then again as Buffet says the only lesson we can learn from history is that people don't learn any lessons from history.
Saying the sensex will not go below 11999 in the next 20 years is an outrageously loose statement.
