the obv value depends upon how many days data you have in your pc..i know this as im having 2 pcs 1 in shop and 1 in home..in these 2 pcs whichever data say BNF, CRUDE,SILVER,NG from the same vendor differs from each other.i asked vjkris sir about this.he told this is because difference in number of days of data saved.then i cleared all data and downloaded just 10 days data in both pcs.after that OBV vallue in both pc sync.

Whatever the value it should give the same signal as i discussed. We are not using the values of OBV just levels wrt yesterday's close. Pls check if the yesterday's closing levels were breached in BN in any of your charts since morning today.

In 1min chart BNF the closing value of obv was not touched throughout day, however if one views a 5min chart there is some overlap there, wonder why.

So to make this concept easier as explained by Happy ji, you may treat the previous day's OBV levels as the new zero levels. So longs above it and shorts below it. It will give a reference point to act.

Vivek ji in 5min.charts also after the 1st few bars it reclaimed these levels and did not fall throughout the day. So there also one would have been better off looking for going long as per the same arguement.

Varunji, is it acceptable to enter on 1min chart and manage the trade on 5min?

I guess you can arrive at better and deeper stops from 5min.charts. Something to trade like a mini positional.
