Thanks OT.

This is an amazing tool to analyze options. Made the picture that much clear.
Some add on's
- further data on Max pain either via commentary (as in mtp tool ) esp when it changes so that we can be ready with trade
Yes this could be included as a Positional Call based on MAX Pain in the tool. This should be a small change to the tool. Hope everybody agrees with 5%.

- pivots from mtp :
I have already incorporated in my current version. Will share this as part of the next version.

- any way of combining with fii data or TA ?
- Linkon had a way of choosing among options to trade, I'll try and locate the post if we could automate
this is a big wish list, I'm happy just trading with your commentary instead as will everyone else
Interpreting FII data is a very complex method. Need to spent some quality time in analyzing the data. Will think of this in the future versions and not in the immediate version.

Choosing Options to trade is a good idea. I have already given in my rules as to which strike to avoid for example the strikes with MAX OI and COI. but we can improve this further

Hi

Thread is too long, can you please again provide the max pain tool here please?

I am a nifty future trader, don't play options till now, have to start, looks like a good starting point here

Doing trading for last 5 years approx on TA and this is my best month ever, made some 600-700 points 1st time ever, by swing trading, day trading is a killer, stopped it :)

I'm trying to use Raj tools on my Windows 7 64 bit with Office 64 Bit (Excel 2013). When I enable the 'Active content; I get some error in the code "Compile error in hidden module". Any fix?

TIA

nf closed at 5409 today, on daily chart morning star formation has taken place with good volume( confirmation required ). initial resistance is at 5425 and major support turned resistance is at 5476 hence at this range one can expect ie 5425 - 5476 some high volume profit booking. any closing above 5485 we can expect a bull run. trade range 90 pts (approx.).

The 15 min time frame up channel seems to be colliding with the 12 day down channel. Lets see who wins!
With reference to the above chart, it was actually missing one days candle (26th Aug)

I actually use two databases (one is by Getbhavcopy for EOD analysis and the other by Data Downloader - for intraday purposes)

For some reason, I missed a candle in the 2nd database. :D

Here is the actual channel :(

Sorry for the wrong chart above. The corrected one has been pasted below.

Interesting, by the looks of it, shorting @ 5409 would be ideal. I would think that as per OAT, it would revisit 5500 before resuming downward and break the channel. Also need to look at volatility when/if Nifty reaches 5500, if it's still above 26, then it's a clear sign to go down
