In the INDIAVIX 60-80 minute chart you can see a Channel. So as per the Channel it should reverse from 24.4 to 28.4. So I am expecting a SELL now. It might be a sudden SELL OFF also. Or it might break 24 and go to 22 as mentioned in the morning. This is just for information so that the LONG holders can be little bit cautious

In 10 and 20 minute NIFTY Spot chart the Channel is broken on the downside. I do not look at the typical Candlestick chart.
Can anybody confirm if the SELL is coming with some Good volumes?

We have all heard of pyramiding, adding on to winning positions. Anyone have ideas whether this would work with options especially at expiry? Always hesitant to add to positions in options. For eg, today 6100 ce taken at 28 yesterday gave a good entry point at 70, but not sure if it could carry on the premium upto expiry. Any thoughts?

Absolute high risk. No way for me. Trading options at or short before expiry yes, but it needs already very clear ideas and plans. But adding, NO. Why? Greed would be the only reason to add under such high risk conditions. There are so many other ways to make money with options, so why put a gun on my head by myself for that event?

But as always: Your money, your knowledge, your risk profile, your live as a trader.

Makes sense, the initial premium due to rally generally wears off rapidly if the trend does not continue each day closer to expiry.. thats the reason i didn't add, but booked profits..

Thought of posting the chart before RBI which should be a non-event.I promise this to be the last on FII Analysis, wont disturb after this

FII positioning for RBI 19-9-2013

They have finally gone bonkers... largest buy position in Index futures after Sept 10 and we know what happened then.. Also looks like they have aggressively shorted 6000 and 6100 PE and unwound 5900, 6000 CE that they had written. Are they knowing something that we dont??
As usual, Retail lead themselves to the sacrificial altar... they have massively gone short which should lead to a mini rally after open.. Everyone has this theory of playing contra especially after a 150 point move.. i dunno why

Here goes the last post of the month for whatever its worth
