Due to News on Oil Stocks, The OIL Stocks corrected Heavily this morning thus causing a BREAKDOWN in the LTF.

MAX OI @ 7500-7600
MAX COI @ 7600-7600 indicating a BD this morning.

MAX Option Pain at 7500. Yesterday it was 7500.

In LTF there is a BUY signal between 7524 and 7545

Ln HTF, The minor Trend support is at 7519, which if holds can act as support and then NIFTY can goto 7620. Otherwise it can goto 7466 and/or 7413.

But for Today I think 7520 SPOT will hold.

The position that I took (Buy 7650CE and Sell 7600PE ) in JUN-14 Series is at a loss of 16 points. I am still holding it....

In the Daily Futures Chart, the Pivot is at ~7650. So I am still hoping that NIFTY will expire above 7600. Or Probably NIFTY Will expire around the Hourly Pivot which is at 7550.

LET US SEE, What happens from here.

bro how do u know whether its BD OR BO ???

as i remember once u told if max COI is at same strike there could be either BD or BO

Not a very easy question to answer. But let me try my interpretation :). First of all these are my own interpretations based on my observations and you will not find these in any Textbooks or Sites... So it is upto you take the way you want. I would suggest you to take it with a pinch of Salt and not take literally. Because there are so many permutations and combinations possible

But First let us take the Simple general case...

Let us say the MAX COI is at 7500PE-7600CE.
And Let us say 7500PE has 4 Lakh positions and 7600CE 6 Lakh positions. So 7600CE has more positions then we will say that it is a Bearish situation. So near 7600 it would be a SELL. If 7500CE has more position we would have gone with a Bullish view.

Now Let us take the case of COI at the same strike.
Take the example of Today's case

MAX COI at 7600PE-7600CE.

7600CE has 26L positions and 7600PE has -11L positions.
Please note that when you take the MAX you have to take the absolute value. Even though -11L is negative number.
First of all a positive number indicates a SELL (It could be BUY also but I always take it as SELL) and a negative number indicates a Square off.
So 7600CE are being SOLD and 7600PE are being squared OFF...

In an absolute sense 26L is greater than 11L and so it is a SELL at 7600.

Great going. There was action indeed today and 60 points move. Only that it went down instead of up. Lets see. Keep giving your comments. For now 7520 seems a good close. Keep giving your updates.

Quite day as expected.
MAX OI @ 7500-7700
MAX COI @ 7500-7600.

NIFTY Futures Pivot @ 7656. So may there would be a Quick Rally to 60 points may be later in the day or tomorrow.

I am holding two strategies

JUN-14 Series. Sold 7650CE and Bought 7600CE - Loss of 2 points - Probably if there is a quick rally of 30/50 points - Will close this position.
JUL-14 Series. SOLD the Pair 7300PE-8000CE - With profit of 22 points - Will close it If I get 25/30 points.

Options Chain MAX PAIN has shifted from 7500 to 7550. It is still not at 7600 that I am expecting. When the MAX Pain shifts to 7600, probably we will see some action

BNF MAX OI @ 15000-16000
COI @ 15100-15500.

Going by my observation that Index / Stock Expires near the Daily Trend / Pivot line, I would expect BNF to expire around 15399. The Pivot has been steadily coming daown. Two days back it was 15477, yesterday it was 15433. Today it is 15399. So may be we can expect around 15350 tomorrow
Options MAX Pain is at 15200. I would expect around 15350...

In LTF there is a FLAG formation and the Support at 15240 SPOT.
In hourly charts, the Pivot and Minor Trend support at 15200 SPOT.

So it would be a BUY around 15240/200 for 15300 and 15400.

Or if we get 15350 First, then it would be a SELL around 15350.
MAX Pain for BankNIFTY is at 15300. Yesterday it was at 15200.

The Daily Futures Pivot is at 15350. So we can expect the expiry to be around 15350 Futures...

People expect a close between 7500- 7550. Profit taking at 7600PE when it goes towards 7500. Selling at 7600 CE. Off course there has been a thriller after 1:30 pm last series atleast. Lets see how it goes this time

Highest COI is at 7600 CE & 7600 PE with OI call- 3415000 and OI Put- (-1215000) and we are on the lower level of 7500-7600 range, is it buy on 7500 or sell on every rise around 7600, still confused.

In LTF, This morning after the BD, there was Buy signal around 7520 and as per the minor Trend the Resistance is at 7540. So if 7540 is broken, then it can goto 7564 and 7584. Otherwise it can go once again down to 7510. So watch 7540 SPOT

Both... But safe would be to SELL around 7600.. Simply because in the hourly charts, NIFTY is trading near the RESISTANCE of 7572 SPOT. Between 7572 SPOT and 7610, it would be a SELL... which can goto 7465 and 7412.

But today everybody would be trading for the Expiry. The Trend or Directional Trade will happen tomorrow...

Also Look at the JUL-14 Series to get a direction. As per JUL-14 Series option data, At 7500 it is a BUY and at 7600 it is a SELL...

So this month NIFTY will expire around the Hourly Major Pivot @ 7520 and not at the Daily Pivot.
