Thanks for the quick response.

1) My OS is VIsta home premium and the screen resolution at the time of installation was 800 X 600. While installing ChartsData, I was told that a minimum resolution of 1024 X 768 is required and offered to change the resolution. I consented and after some silence, the system was hanging. I had to reload the OS from backup and tried again and manually changed the resolution before re-installing the program.

If the DPI scaling is 120 DPI and NOT the default 96 DPI, the application window goes beyond the full screen and NO scroll bars are there to access the various buttons. I had to stop the process to come out.

ChartsData has been programmed to use minimum resolution of 1024 X 768 to process. Just change your resolution setting to 1024 X 768 or above.

2) Yahoo log-in is often very erratic. I had to make a few attempts before a successful log-in. Every time I start the program, it asks for yahoo log-in, even if I am already logged in.
If you are already logged in, then you can see your data displayed realtime, so no need to login again, if not then you need to relogin again to get realtime quotes.


3) ALL the radio buttons under the 'National' tab are inactive and cannot be selected. As such, the real fell of the running of the program can be felt.
Not all radio buttons Muthy. Just play a little with ChartsData to learn how to use it coz, Charts-TA section and BACKFILL section will be active only when you have scripts selected in YAHOO/ODIN else these parts will be disable to avoid invalid selections.

Pra & killerdon is different member. Pl, clarify me following quaries--

Loganathan has introduced this thread with very good intention for help other members. But he wants to use his programme for limited period. ??? After several request to him directly his mail box as well as in this forum (pl, read my previos all posts) to reply minimum but he did not do this. As a thred introducer, it is very accepted from his end because his main target to help other members . After hopless remarks by me, he had appeared immediately.

I cardialy expected from his end to extened the time limitaion till original version come (pl, read my old msgs from here) because his intention is to help members.?????? -- But he does not do this or don't come to forum to reply the status.

Before any commitment to me, pl , follow my all old posts & you judge --- am i wrong?

After, loganathan appear , i have responded immediatly. This utility available Datafetchers, Investbulls etc but price is not berable from me, thats why i have requested several posts here as well as his maill box to get reply. Again, he did not appeared . Is it acceptable from the thread generator? ---?????????

thanks for your comments....once upon a time, there is a story called fox and grapes.. I guess few guys like you had learned the bad taste of grapes but i am still trying to get a ripe one, i know it is difficult or even might not reach a good one, but will try till i retire... just go ahead on your way and find something within your reach... wish you a great success...

Hi, TECHDUMP, very happy to see you here for a long time. Hope this time you don't leave in mid-way. When I try to install it, it don't install and gives a error MSSTDFMT.DLL file is missing. To solve problem of MSSTDFMT.DLL

Step 1 Download MSSTDFMT.DLL from Microsoft website & copy it to windows\system32

Step 2 Open run form start menu & enter following command

regsvr32 %windir%\system32\MSSTDFMT.DLL

tell me if problem your solved or not
