Till when is the current version valid? Have you released any version with longer validity of maybe 1-2 years.

I am not sure about IE 7 and IE 8 as i am new to that but that might not affect metastock updation nor crashing, please try to check whether any other application is interrupting...

Thanks for the CD. I am using angel ODIN 9.1.0.5. Yesterday I was working with that and amibroker.I also had IE7. No problem. But today I was working with metastock 8. Metastock was crashing frequently. I had to close CD and then start MS and CD then to get data update? Can you tell me where lies problem? IE 8 was windows update.

:clap:Can u have the tool which converts the data from PIB(Power India Bulls) to Metastock/Ami Convesion and TT(India Infoline) to Metastock/Ami. Please make sure that these options should be present in your upcoming versions of charts data. :clapping:

yes, you should register it in order to work with chartsdata.

go to dos command prompt -> goto chartsdata installation directory -> type regsvr32 msstdfmt.dll and hit enter, you will see a popup message saying successfully registered.

i installed again now asking 4 msstdfmt.dll searched n found thnat dll is there in chartsdata n window/system folder. shud need to register that?? if yes , how?

As already said - Yes, below said problem exists in the evaluation version but it will be resolved in the iupcoming versions.

Even I have found the same problem. Initially it works fine, but after some time (around 15 mins to 30 mins), the columns shifts. The value in the Symbol column becomes the date, the value in date column becomes the date converted value of time, LTP becomes the change in price so on. There is a shift of one column. It creates a new symbol of current date in Amibroker. I need to close and re-run the program again. It would be kind of you if you can fix this problem. Anyways its an excellent program. Cheers !!!

is it possible to extract bid price ask price along with bid quantity and ask quantity along with other data
and feed to excel or text document
it will be usefull for market profile charts and foot print charts
though i am not expert in them

I am not sure about goTX but if you are connected to net then your system should download YAH00 datas and export it to charts as well, if not then there should be some application interrupting the process.

Today for first time i strated trading. I am using goTX v1.2 provided by KARVY.

one typiccal problem I faced today.

I am using 2MBPS connectivity. The goTX was functioning fine. I could import data from ***** to excel but my most reliable tool CHART DATA refused to fetch data. The webdata in the tray all the time showed DATA EXTRACTION IN PROGRESS.

goTX is JAVA enabled. I could not undertsand any logic.

Could you please explain the reason for such behaviour. Is it because of software conflict or any other reason.

Check your FCharts intraday update dialog box and make sure every option is correctly selected/entered correct values.

Sorry for asking you some repeated query. Your CD is working properly. Since 6th,May the data is not updating in the FChart intraday chart and the dilog is coming 'importing C:\ChartsData\FChart failed'. I have also tried after reinstalling both, but no cucess. Though I am a nontechnical man, I can'nt guess, where is the fault. Kindly try to solve the problem.

ExcelUpdate.xls will be feeded by either ODIN or YAH00, start chartsdata and choose any above any one option to see data coming in chartsdata, which will be transferred to ExcelUpdate.xls, data will not directly go to excel without running chartsdata

dear tech guy,

i have ownloaded and installe this. i can see ExcelUpate.xsl file but i dont see the csv file, and the directory Csv oesnt exist at all. where can i get a text/csv file?

I am not sure what might be the problem with your system but as for others, if intraday data is coming then eod should come coz both are taken from the same source. Please check your system and try it again, EOD and intraday datas will be saved as csv files in csv/data folder.

For some strange reason, Chartsdata is not working as far as fetching EOD data from yahoo. It continues to work great for intraday data from ODIN to Amibroker.

There is no error message being displayed, but at the same time,
none of the radio buttons get activated by clicking the options ( ie cash, end of day, Amibroker etc. )

It is able to successfully sign in to yahoo, but beyond that nothing works.
I tried re-installing the software but the problem continues. All the time the system tray icon is visible.

I installed the application on another PC and it still continues to face the same problem.
