One day I was updating in Amibroker. Next day in metastock. Metastock was updating. When I tried next day in amibroker, ami was not updating though CD was updating. Any solutions?

Dear Loganathan,
Sorry for asking you some repeated query. Your CD is working properly. Since 6th,May the data is not updating in the FChart intraday chart and the dilog is coming 'importing C:\ChartsData\FChart failed'. I have also tried after reinstalling both, but no cucess. Though I am a nontechnical man, I can'nt guess, where is the fault. Kindly try to solve the problem.

Sorry friend, i am not sure of any other data sources to feed TA softwares. If you are sure of something, let me know and i will try it out.

Thanks techdump for replying. I want excel to be activated cause i have real time package which is "Falcon" but charting is not that exciting as MS or Ami. So i want u to activate excel in your s/w so that i can connect that excel file with my falcon. By doing this i will be able to see live chart in ami. I hope i sound logical.

dear tech guy,

i have ownloaded and installe this. i can see ExcelUpate.xsl file but i dont see the csv file, and the directory Csv oesnt exist at all. where can i get a text/csv file?

Hello Loganathan,

For some strange reason, Chartsdata is not working as far as fetching EOD data from yahoo. It continues to work great for intraday data from ODIN to Amibroker.

There is no error message being displayed, but at the same time,
none of the radio buttons get activated by clicking the options ( ie cash, end of day, Amibroker etc. )

It is able to successfully sign in to yahoo, but beyond that nothing works.
I tried re-installing the software but the problem continues. All the time the system tray icon is visible.

I installed the application on another PC and it still continues to face the same problem.

well, i am download the software from 4shared
and install it. and facing some error
error like that
"Class not registered.
you need the following file to be installed on your machine. MSSTDFMT.Dll."

pls help me. just tell me what is solution for above error.

Hi Loganathan,

I have been using ChartsData for a few weeks, on vista. I have noticed that whenever it is running, my cut-n-paste buffer is getting messed up - paste in excel ends up pasting the data from portfolio tracker in ChartsData. Are you aware of any related issue?
