back fill for nifty futures - i tried to download 1 min data for nifty futures current month. the tab at the right hand bottom of the charts data screen displays " download 100% completed". but the chart of Amibroker i use does not get updated. please help me to over come this.

i downloaded charts data, from4shades.com, as explained, but after the setup, it is showing msstdfmt.dll missing, i tried all the ways, but i could not sucesseded. please help me what to do.

I have downloaded the ChartsData v1.0 and installed it. it is working absolutely fine with yahoo ( except the time shown is 1:15 H plus the actual time.)

I have two fundamental questions to ask.

(a) Since you do not aloow resizing of the window what is the best screen resolution required to work with this s/w ( In my case when i work on 1280X1024 resolution part of the text and tabs are partially visible as they go off the screen.)

(b) I will be getting goTX provided by KARVY in a day or so. will this be compatiable with ChartsData v1.0 as ODIN.

I may be excused as I have downloaded your software and installed in my pc.It is in evalution period, but it is running very nicely feeding rt data to FChart without any delay. But I have noticed problem (1) The time difference is one hour + from the system time. 2) In the course of running, price difference column is coming inplace of last traded price,last culumn(previous close) data is vanishing and to bring correct view I have to exit and restart the software. Kindly short the problems

Dear TradeMaster,

Yes, it will work with ODIN 9.1.5 version (Angel version) as i am using it for myself. No need to go for DDE/export options, just a plain version is enough.

does it work with latest version of odin 9.1.5 ?? If my odin doesn;t have export to excel (DDE) option then , casue some brokers doesn;t give this option , i need to pay additional for it

This is not the problem with versions, You need to have IE as your default browser and make sure the browser options are set to default.

well,

I find this proggi good enough. fron last 2-3 days when i runit, it's ask to save sone .csv file and if i choose to save says enable to save can't read fron source. ne one know the problen or new ver is there

Yes, this is the problem currently with chartsdata due to day light time savings settings in us as yahoo server time depends, it is resolved in the upcoming version.

charts data from yahoo i have obsevered the time stamping is one hour ahed of the actula time is displayed and the same is carried over to ami if i use charts data , my charts data is evaluvation version 1 .that means the displayed time in charts data is 1430 and the actual time may be 1330 only. what is the solution as my datas are getting spoiled if i switch over from odin to yahoo and vice versa.how can we switch over data feed from odin to yahoo and vice versa with same symbols on real time feed? as some times if yahoo feed is broken data feed can be switched over to yahoo or to backfill odin feed the yahoo backfill option can be used ?

ChartsData wont download intraday futures backfill data, it only updates EOD futures data.

1024 x 768 is the best resolution suited for ChartsData.

(b) I will be getting goTX provided by KARVY in a day or so. will this be compatiable with ChartsData v1.0 as ODIN.
I am not sure about specific brokers ODIN as all brokers share FT tech's ODIN only. ChartsData supports most of the brokers ODIN, mostly ODIN Diet or Diet Client versions.
