I haven't done anything from my side and it should work as before. please try checking your system whether any other applicaiton is interrupting chartsdata or any other problems.

Dear Nandu Pande,

There is no seperate DLL to view live datas in excel. Just install the software, choose your data source as either odin or yah00. If odin, select your market watch window name listed and you can find the data flowing in to chartsdata watch list. Once this happens, open ExcelUpdate.xls found in the chartsdata installation folder and select sheet ODIN or YAH00 whichever you have choosen in chartsdata for data. Press START button to see realtime data in excel which has been displayed in chartsdata watch list.

Dear All,

Please find attached the snapshots of my tool "ChartsData".

I have added "BhavCopy update" to the tool, which will download both NSE & BSE bhavcopies from nseindia and bseindia websites for the chosen date and corresponding scrips data will be imported to the specific TA software.

As I am in the process of testing data validation (got some problems with Metastock data updations), i will upload the first version as soon as the problem is resolved.

I want the tool to be neat & clean as you guys use, else i assume i couldn't be able to reply to your questions.

As a software engineer, i came to stock market a year back with the introduction of Saint's "Teach a man to fish..." and started learning the TA with the intention of earning in the stock market. But i found it difficult to see the real time data charting as they cost more than what we earn initially... so i started my research some 8 months back and developed this tool.

A lot of guys helped me to understand the bits and bytes of share market and i take privilege to introduce my tool to Traderji members.

Special thanks to Saint for the wonderful writing. It helped me like a lot of beginners to enter into the stock world and helped me to learn A,B,C of Stock market.

Please check out this thread later for the tool in a few days.

Please wait for sometime as i want my tool to be used without bugs as it currently have few errors and i don't want you guys to get tensed on seeing those error messages while trading...

does it work with latest version of odin 9.1.5 ?? If my odin doesn;t have export to excel (DDE) option then , casue some brokers doesn;t give this option , i need to pay additional for it

I find this proggi good enough. fron last 2-3 days when i runit, it's ask to save sone .csv file and if i choose to save says enable to save can't read fron source. ne one know the problen or new ver is there

today i downloaded, chartsdata, after download, i tried open the folder, it is showing EVALUATION PERIOD EXPIRED, why it has come, now what to do, for setting right.

charts data from yahoo i have obsevered the time stamping is one hour ahed of the actula time is displayed and the same is carried over to ami if i use charts data , my charts data is evaluvation version 1 .that means the displayed time in charts data is 1430 and the actual time may be 1330 only. what is the solution as my datas are getting spoiled if i switch over from odin to yahoo and vice versa.how can we switch over data feed from odin to yahoo and vice versa with same symbols on real time feed? as some times if yahoo feed is broken data feed can be switched over to yahoo or to backfill odin feed the yahoo backfill option can be used ?
