hi loganathan,

thanks for the wonderful utility. i get the data into ami without any probs. I need to have the scripts say for nifty future it should update inside the ami db as nifty_f1 instead of nifty_jun. is this possible with chartsdata ? Also can u elaborate on how to do backfill incase we get disconnected from odin during the trading hrs ?

Dear Bill,

ChartsData YAH00 profiles works only for Nse, Bse and world indices but not for US stocks, seems like you have manually included all US stock symbols which will not be recognized by ChartsData.

I have downloaded the latest ver and also registered the DLLs and OCSs. I still cannot get the data from yahoo. I do have Yahoo Subscription. I love to be part of your testing team. Here is the pic. Can you let me know if I am doing anything wrong.

Dear Shravnank30,

Yes, 1 min and 5 min intraday backfill happens from YAH00 and they are 15mins delayed for current trading day but you will get real-time data for this second/minute without any delay if you are logged in to YAH00.

ChartsData will backfill intraday data's only for cash market but not for futures and options and EOD backfill is available for F&O.

Hello Mr Loganathan

The utility is working very well for me. No connectivity issues.
I am able to update my charts in realtime from ODIN to Amibroker.
However, the data for the time of few minutes when ODIN is not working due to logout or internet failure, that portion of data is not getting backfilled although the autobackfill button is ticked. How Can this missing data be filled ?

Please also let me know how i can do backfill of last days nifty fut data in 1 min format, as the data is not appearing although i have tried 2-3 times. Maybe it is going to .CSV as indicated in the help.
Please let me know how to avoid this and specifically how to activate the historical data in Amibroker as recommended by you

Thanks once again for this great realtime utility as Mr AKGandhi's utility which was also great is providing updated data in Amibroker after a gap of 1-2 minutes as the PIB chart had to be refreshed every minute and then wait for the converter utility to run.

If your profile under YAH00 option was not loaded after starting ChartsData, follow below steps and check it again.
a. Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language settings
b. select "English (United States)" under Regional Options tab
c. select "English (United States)" under Advanced tab
d. Click Ok to save the settings and start ChartsData to see your profile loaded with data's.

Let me know if you face any other issues.

Thanks. Use Custom Symbol Naming feature to customize symbol names and find ChartsData.chm help file in the installation directory or press F1 or click Help to invoke help file to see more.

If you miss odin data during trading hours, use 1min backfill to backfill today's data but it will be 15mins delay as per YAH00's rules.

Dear Sir,

Before requesting you I have done all the settings according to your advise,
but problem is there. Old version was working fine but when I installed new verson I am not getting profile in Chart Data.

Please look into the matter and help how to solve the problem.

Dear Mr Loganathan,

You should try to give backfill facility for intraday quotes also for at least Nifty 50 stocks or bare minimum Nifty near month. Of course i do not know the technical limitations you may be facing, but if possible, you should provide this facility to truly take advantage of your utility.

Also please let me know if i have the missing intraday data in PIB format , is there any way, the same can be appended to your data ?
