The software is really easy to use. I am using TDI now and will test it live on Monday. For the news, it would be great if there is some way to customize the news. It could be a filter to show only those news clippings relevant to the stocks in the profile... I am looking for a RT news source where I can set alerts for specific news relevant to stocks on my watchlist.

thanks for update, downloaded new update, what are the new features? i am not technical person, but this time around i could able to download bhav copy from nse in csv format, but in csv bhav copy there ant any indices, i am a nifty trader and my need is following type of data, nse nifty future, option, open interest ( both nifty future and option )vix, is there any way to do so ?am i missing something in chart data? my software is fchart.

If you have already installed ChartsData, uninstall and install the new one, previous data's and settings won't be affected.

Backfilling will be automatically done as you no need to worry about the file names. Just choose the TA software (Ami/Ms/FC) and start backfilling.

can you add funcionality to configure metastock/chart data in other drives like D or E. I have windows and metastock loaded in D drive and chartsdata is not working may be because of this.

Will it work in Vista? If I start chartsdata I am getting an error "Component "mscomct2.ocx" or one of its dependencies not correctly registered. a file is missing or invalid"

Hi Loganathan,

Today chartsdata worked fine with ODIN. But got some difficulties.

1. Rarely I got runtime error (just one time a day) and it closes the Amibroker without saving the database.(loosing unsaved time data)

2. When I try with indices previous futures data file it is not updating. But for the new one it does.

But overall performance is good . Needs only few things to be fixed.

Hello

I tested the application today, worked fine for me .. (the odin part).

Minor Issues:

1. Can't use clipboard for other apps while this program is running (no problem, can do with that maybe just put a note about that for others...)
   
   
2. Need a Pause Button, as the STOP/Update closes the AB application when stoped ...
   
   
3. The message for required Column kept popping up 2/3 times even after the start (is it a nag? if yes, need a note on that)

Over all happy with the stability, ease of use and intutive configuration and usability...
