Thanks for ur reply Mr. Kaushik Banerjee Sir, so now i can go ahead an open an account with RKG.. also would like to know that how is the DIET ODIN platform for Intraday trading, can we do instant trades with buy/sell limit order.. and how fast the response is, means to say, how much time it takes for an order to get executed and show on ur screen and can we modify an order instantly ... and hws ur experience using the software.. plz help.. thanks in advance

Order placing, modification, execution is fast in ODIN.
But their servers are many times down. And don't rely on their charts.

i got a taste of RKGLOBAL customer service y'day.

#1. the executive on the phone has no knowledge of the market or even his job.
#2. customer service, manners, listening, empathy are words alien to them.
#3. no escalation matrix. so no fear of complaint to superiors.


i stayed with RK for nearly 7 months. in terms of brokerage they are the best. but in terms of Customer Service - they top the WORST list.

for me personally both brokerage and cust. service are important.

Goodbye RK. good riddance. Iam gonna make sure, your cust. service rudeness is made known to my trader friends.

Hi All,

I am using RK, more that almost 3 -4 months. i am not a big trader. but never face much of a problem with RKG.

Just now they have updated their site, and now its quite fast. about problems,
you will find problems every where unless you dont know where exactly to contact.

They are slow to respond like if the URL is changed or server is down,

You have to bear few things, if interested in enjoying lowest brokerages. will makes possible to square position with least difference when someone in position of reducing loss.

They have just started the SMS facility to tell you today's trade history.

As of today i am happy with service.

If there servers are down then you will not be able to place orders

When servers are down I could not log in even.
But when they are up, I found ODIN better in order confirmation,modification,cancellation,execution.

I have not faced any rude behaviour in phone so far. I also used to mail them my query and they reply.
At Rs. 9 brokerage one cannot expect too much customer service.
I'm happy with their service and will be more happy if they improve their servers so that I don't face problem connecting to ODIN. What else one needs? Place order and see it executed. That's all.

Gd day. I know the customer service of rkg is pathetic.The day when their server was down for entire day the customer service manager saying frm kolkatta reply was "exchange pblm".... Not even know wht is happng around their office.then called delhi after 15 times i got reply saying server pblm.I find certain people here in blog writting they are not facing any pblm even if their server is down they are able to place order over phone easily.To be saying frankly when their server is down it is not possible to place order from any of their office..... i once visited their office recently and asked them to place order but they were not able to.later on in delhi they did it through neat terminal.so fnd many write here that u can call and trade.it also never hpns.i have experienced the same personally.since i have to rotate my finance i hold account with them....... nowdays hardly i trade 2 lot thats it.else in a day i used to trade huge volume......... if u want u can try focus.i have account there also.they also charge rs 9. if u give gd volume it can be negotiable also.without odine maintenance charge monthly.customer service is also gd.try it out.

As u trade with focus also, please highlight your views on the following :
U said they have no software maintainance charges.
They also charge Rs. 9 brokerage and it is further negotiable if one generates good volume.
But is this Rs. 9 brokerage flat suppose if I trade once a week only?
Or there needs to be a volume commitment to get Rs. 9 brokerage also?

If so I can try Focus bcoz I'm with RKG for brokerage only. If ODIN of Focus serves well & brokerage is Rs. 9, I need nothing more. No need to talk with their executives.

Hi Sumit, They told me the same today... that i can use SBI for Internet banking and transfer funds... Is it true??? Plz reply giving full details... Thanks !!!
