No hopes for another 2 days at least it seems. It is a goofup from Fin. Technologies it seems. They half upgraded the software and went on Christmas ... New year holidays :eek: leaving everybody including RKG in the lurch.

I have asked them not to charge me for the s/w during the down period last one week + till charts are fixed.

What about the "Trades(F8)" and "Integrated Net Position" window? are they working properly? are they updating properly after a trade is done?

Yes, both are working fine for me. Note that I only trade Nifty futures.

Once, immediately after a trade was executed, I noticed that the Integrated Net Position did not update. Retried after a few seconds and it was fine. Moral: allow a few seconds for the backend database to commit.

Hey!can u guys place market orders in nifty futures through rk??I tried but couldn't.Tried placing a sell order with a very low price to mimic a market order and my order got frozen and margin blocked!!:confused::confused:

For a limit order, you should place a price within the circuit limits or it gets frozen (by NSE I am told, not the broker). A frozen order would be released after some time (within 1 hour).

It is a bother if it is an unintended typing error such as 2790 instead of 2970 but worse can happen with such typing errors. Makes one miss the ability to place market orders for futures.
 
The latest upgrade download at the RKG site (Mumbai Diet 9x.zip) has an additional .reg file with:

This is different from the initial upgrade that had a 202.xx entry for the chart server IP. Has this change helped with graphs? I continue to get 'An unsupported operation was attempted".

I got an order status update problem some time back. My sell order showed pending even though price went below my trigger price! I tried changing it to RL and executing it, got surv.... error, and the order showed as executed at trigger price. Looks like order status is getting updated in the order book with delay :confused:

Just checked with tech. support. He asked me to redownload and reinstall ODIN, download the new registry and double click it. This should fix the links problems. Charts will be resolved in another 2 weeks :rolleyes: it seems.
