They know that the problem is their low quote server bandwidth. I am sure packets are just lost. They recently doubled it from 2 MBPS to 4 MBPS :lol:

Once technical support tried to crap me that it is BSNL problem. When I asked him how PIB is working. He started fumbling, stammering, and promised to help me if I call after the markets. When I called after markets he asked me to call during markets. I didn't bother anyway. :D

Opening the account: They don't have an office in Bangalore, but they have a representative in Bangalore who helps in opening the account. He came near my office and got the forms signed. He said that it would take 15 working days and I got the userID and password mailed on the 14th day. Also he as quite good at responding to the queries I had.

Money transfer: I have a ICICI account, but in their trading site only HDFC account can be added. So I had to add RK Global as the 3rd party payee in ICICI site. The transfer is not instantaneous. It took around 4-5 hours for the transfered amount to appear in the trading site.
I haven't yet tried transferring money back to my bank account.

Trading site: I use only the web version. There are two options, i.e lite and streaming. Before the login screen I get a certification error, but that it is not a big issue. The loading of the main trading screen is slow, but after that things can be done very fast and with ease. The order execution is very fast (I have never seen an order in inprogresss state). I use firefox and there are no issues.

Customer care: Their customer care guys sound unprofessional. But luckily I had to call them only once till now( I was trying to buy options without specifying the limit price. The customer care guy pointed out that market order is not allowed for derivatives)

Back office: Their back office site serves the purpose well. The details of the trades, different taxes, etc are clearly mentioned.

WAP site: I was surprised to know that they have a wap site. I was not aware of it till one of the previous poster mentioned about it. I was able to execute a trade without any issues in opera mini browser.

No lets not rock the boat :)

RKG gives nice low brokerage. PIB gives nice charting with a one time fee. Enjoy both. The brokers use us, we use them. Simple :)

In India no point complaining cribbing for any service. Adjust the sails, thats the best way. Like my dish tv account on tv says your subscription is expiring on 00/99/49 and your last payment was Rs. .0004

No problems as long as I can see the picture :lol:

What to do. I want the cheapest brokerage structure and if possible no brokerage at all. The only thing that is keeping me away from RKG are user complaints. :(

Well, i use only web interface, no ODIN...

I can view the site in lite mode in firefox....just install latest firefox and enable pop ups.....

can view in IE 7, enable pop ups, install flash, u can then view even in streaming mode..

quotes refresh very fast in IE 7 streaming mode, no disconnections even on gprs ;) thats a very good point, because even sharekhan used to freeze in gprs, but RKG dont freeze

u can place orders on the move, using WAP site https://rkglobal.net/rkglobal form ur mobile browser, dont use opera for this....whenever u place order, in SER. = BE comes , dunno why, u need to change it manually to EQ, and u can place the order...

RKG had lots of issues when i opened account, it seems, they need to set parameters for new user, and they do it only on user complaints...

i once complained them about balance not shown, after that i never faced such problem...

once complained them for balance not shown for delivery sold.... solved, never seen again such issue, now i can sell delivery and instantly get balance in account...

u can pay 99 rs/pm and get web interface enabled for ur account, or else use ODIN for 299 rs/pm

RKG just rocks completely for me ;)
