Any update on NSE NOW availability from RK Global?

I have been using ODIN diet with RK for over a year now and very happy with it. Due to my reduced trading activity I moved to web based client in RK. It was a bad choice. RK's web based/wap based client is pretty much useless. With RK stick to ODIN diet

RK has registered for the NOW s/w and created the user id for their customers, but we still not able to trade using NOW platform, using RK user ID.

Today the RK Global server was down for about 20 mins in the morning, just before the market was about to open. So was unable to log into the ODIN till 10.15 am.

I got a message from RKG "Your account has been activated
for I-Net software".What does it exactly mean?Of course I wrote
to RKG also.

Checked with cust. support, it seems they had a power fault in the building, and could not start their backup power also due to that.

I just signed the papers for account opening form RK Global. Apart from POA being given (to an unknown person.. as the name was supposed to be kept blank), I see that there is no copy of the agreement given to the customer.

I have absoluteley no paper in hand even to prove that I am a customer of RK Global :annoyed:. This did not happen with other brokerage firms when I opened an account with them.

After transferring hard-earned money to their virtual account/website, I hope they dont vanish into thin air with all our money. There would be no proof even to make a complaint.

Is there any RK Global customer who faced the same problem or am I the only one facing this issue.

Can we ask for a copy of the agreement ?
The account opening sales person told me that there is nothing that will be sent to you thru post e.g. Welcome Kit, etc. everything is thru email !!!

Has anyone faced this problem before ? Any action taken ? Please post your views.

Are you in any of the cities where RKG has an office? Even I haven't received any thing from them, but I do not think they can just wanish like that. You will have an electronic record of every transaction; Contract notes, everyday trades / orders, money transfer records etc. Unless they really have an intention to assign someone's bad trades to your name, they can't steel a penny out of you without you knowing (and I don't think it is easy to assign just any trade to your name unless you have started the trade).
Also, I guess SEBI has strict rules on who can become a brokerage house and they probably ask for deposits beforehand. I do not see many issues like them running off overnight.

I have been using their Web-based platform for a few months now, but it is good (especially when there is no proxy involved). Things have been near-realtime (I compared to the quotes coming from Live TV / Yahoo Finance and my other brokerage account, and found RKG just as fast. Even the execution of order has been pretty decent). Only thing that pisses me off is transiting from Market-watch to any other view and back to market-watch. I haven't used ODIN. Why did you say web-based is useless pretty much? Could you kindly be specific (I would like to know if ODIN works considerably better).
