For your kind information RKG does not have any security certificate as of now. Their website is completely insecure. They use http:// instead of https://
HTTPS = HTTP Secure

Even the worst brokerage houses use Https. RKG customer service does not know what website security is all about and says that it has been taken care of.

It is up now.. Not seeing any difference in speed.
with www.rkglobal.net gives HTTP error whereas http://rkglobal.net works fine!

A simple method woul dbe to post that inofrmation on their ebpage itself and send SMS to customer to update from their website rather than yahoo account !!!.

As of now we dont have any numbers of any breach of security due to stupid moves by RKG.

There site was not opening to many clients today.
That's why they put those files on an yahoo account and asked clients to download from there.
But after all, this is a very stupid move by RKG.
They should have mailed those files to their clients and then could send SMS to their clients for checking inbox.

RKG's website is not only http but is most of the time down. It is also very very slow. Order modification/cancellation takes too much time.

But so far I have not faced any problem in their ODIN.
I'm a happy customer of sharekhan for 2 years and now happy with RKG too.
It depends on how much u expect. Sharekhan gives a nice software for free.
They send various research reports daily regarding market.
RKG gives value for money in not only brokerage but something else also. I found it.

RKG's website is working OK.But you can not login.This happens on every
Saturday and Sunday.

I was talking about Friday. I learned from this thread that the site was not working. I personally don't even login to their website. Why should I when I have their ODIN ?

Is there odin also unreliable ? , is anyone experiencing price freezing or latent updation in quotes, does there trading server go down in market hours ,ARE order processed in real time ?. was planing to open a nse cash segment account for scalping with odin

I have an account with RKG and checked out the first contract note today. They have charged for Rs. 15 towards " Transaction Charges " though I had used the software to execute my orders. Is this usual with RKG? I had seen a post (cannot locate the thread now) in which one of the old timers had uploaded his RKG contract notes along with the trade confirmation (from nse). Could someone tell me in which thread this was posted. Would be very obliged

NIFTY FUTURE BILL -

1 LOT NF ........BUY = 264687.5 SELL = 264500

TOC = 15.88 (@ which rate)
this should be 0.002% of turnover = 10.58, even if we include SEBI charges @ 0.0001 % ...even then it is less than Rs. 11 so....
service tax on TOC = 1.64 (@ 10.3 %,...its OK)
STAMP DUTY = 11.91 (@ which rate)
this should be 0.002% of turnover = 10.58... but...

STT and other charges are OK ie. as per rules.

NOTE - I had already checked about official charges in FNO from ICICIdirect website and various threads on this topic...but these rates on above two dont match...

Transaction Charge is 0.003 %. Stamp Duty is 0.002 %.
Stamp Duty is not supposed to be 11.91. They always round it to nearest integer i.e 11.
Check back office. Stamp Duty is clearly shown in Account Ledger.
Also u can download Contract Note from RKG back office in PDF format rather than HTML format which is mailed to u. It is more clear and easy to understand.
