R K Global Issues!

Have u checked ur fund and tried with any of the graphs??? Reply ASAP.
This has reference to Odin Diet.

Fund view gives the message: "Diet Session Id URL is Empty". Essentially not working.

Intraday graphs are working; but there is a change from yesterday: there is no backfill.

PS: The internet website rkglobal.net is back up and running fine..

Seems to be a bit fast too.

I got a SMS from RKglobal earlier today with a Yahoo email ID and password for that yahoo mail account. They are asking customers to download scrip master file as well as registry file to fix the DNS issues from that yahoo mail account.

It appears technical staff of this broker is still living in stone age. They could make the files available for download from their site so they are asking ALL customers to login to a single yahoo account and download the files from there. Anyone can login to that yahoo account and change the files that are available there for download and replace them with say files containing virus or keylogger programs to infect the computers of all the customers.

First RKglobal removed the SSL certificate from their site and now this moronic move. Looks like this is a broker that can't care less about the online security. I get a feeling that my money is not safe with these morons. Looks like the time to close my account with this broker.

There site was not opening to many clients today.
That's why they put those files on an yahoo account and asked clients to download from there.
But after all, this is a very stupid move by RKG.
They should have mailed those files to their clients and then could send SMS to their clients for checking inbox.

I never get my trading bills regularly...somedays there are bills in my inbox, somedays they are not...but no problem...Rs. 9 brokerage is toooooo good..:p

For your kind information RKG does not have any security certificate as of now. Their website is completely insecure. They use http:// instead of https://
HTTPS = HTTP Secure

Even the worst brokerage houses use Https. RKG customer service does not know what website security is all about and says that it has been taken care of.

I feel like withdrawing all my funds .. pay slightly more but make sure its safe with another brokerage house.

Cheers ... Raj

Hi Prashyrao,

I have been using RKG's web-version for last one month.
I have few doubts.

1.RKG's security certificate is not at all secure.
One remedy to this is to enter RKG's website
trough http://www.rkglobal.net/Disclaimer.asp.

2.I am using Firefox and representative from RKG
advised me to use IE instead. What is the browser
you are using?

Today you are paying Rs 9.. too good..

I dont know what you might think when RKG uses no securty AT ALL !!! It will be only amatter of time when this willbe public and hackers screw RKG customers.

Hope capital is not lost in this cheap affair.

Yes I do face same problem. In fact its been going on sporadically for many months now. But nothing like today.

If you see my post above (#947), same thing happened on 22nd June but the guy at their Delhi office (Mr. Rawat) insisted that my internet was at fault - and told me that rkglobal.net is loading alright on his internet. :(

I spent time in checking everything from anti-virus, firewall, odin registry, re-booting etc. But it turned out to be that their server was down.

This kind of out-right lying on part of broker is definitely not worth Rs. 9/- brokerage... Everything connected with R K Global is down on internet - their website, their Odin server till the time of this posting... hope they are not playing cricket with Dhoni!
