how to use data from Hourly Statistics in now for back fill, please explain

Has anyone compiled a detailed set of instructions on steps to be followed in NOW/ZTrader to Ami and Sharekhan TT to Ami ? Such compilation will help people to do this configuration correctly. If one has to do this configuration on other computer or to be done afresh in the event of OS change/crash these instructions will come handy for people who are not so technically enabled and we need not trouble Josh1, Kanitkar or sr114 who are so willingly helping people.

Can we have separate instructions if someone wants to download IEOD data from Sharekhan TT / NOW / Nest Trader and fill in Ami without real time updates ?

I have seen the videos...but still all steps not fully clear.

data capture from NOW/Ztrader is simple enough- just link to excel and paste in the RT excel file cell A1 and ur done.

for downloading ieod data follow the instructions

1. Diet Odin - data to be grabbed

futures = Crtl+F12 on the respective scrip
cash = Shift+F12 on the respective scrip
copy the data and save in excel as csv format and supply the name of the scrip as u see it in ami.

the data format is : time, O,H,L,C,V, Value TO(col G),ATP (col H).

u have to delete the col G,H and insert 1 col in A for the date [for date use the fml =Today() in the cell and fill till the data is present], time is properly formated and lastly delete the 1st row and u will get the backfill data in proper way.

2. The ieod data from Trade Tiger is more or less same -
format - Ticker, Date, Time, Qty,O,H,L,C

only u have to arrange the proper col sequence in ami's import wizard

the data in Hourly statistics are in this format

start time, end time, O,H,L,C, Cumulative Vol

delete col B (end time), insert 1 col b4 col A for the date [ use the fml = Today()], paste till the end of the data in col A and then delete Row 1 or while importing , use Skip 1 Row in ami import wizard.

the data is ready for backfill

Does this require licenced version of Amibroker or can be done in the free version..Also the free version of Amibroker doesnt let save databases. .is there any work around for this?
