RKSV has one of the biggest prop trading desks in mumbai. Is this true?

By biggest, I dont mean in feet and inches :)

I have heard that you guys do a few thousand crores of turnover as prop trading per year. Please confirm.
Hi sumosanammain,

A few thousand per year is much more accurate. We had a few clients ask us that on the phone whether we do a few thousand crores of turnover per day. Let me clarify:

- We are definitely not the biggest broker or even top 10 in terms of prop volume. You can call the NSE and ask this.
- Regarding our transaction costs -- it's not temporary nor are we taking a loss on our books by dropping it.

Anyone who has been to our office can safely say that we do not have the biggest prop desk in Mumbai. :)

Some wild rumors are abound on this board

i have now trading platform already from a broker will i be able to trade in that very platform using ur id i have account with zerodha will i be able to use nest plus
Hi sachin,

You can use NSE NOW with us, not NEST. I believe any NEST Plus add on is tied to your existing broker ID so it won't work with us unless you get another license. Will check with the vendor and let you know if that's not the case on Monday.

hi RKSV,

Some ppl who are active traders, will open a/c of son/brother/wife along with their personal a/c. And later their relative will refer the main account i.e. trader's account.
Each month the 20% will go back to his relative means ultimately to himself.

Do u have any rules regd referral programme to avoid such practises ?

Hi meena07,

The referral program is meant to be used for your friends not your immediate family (parents, siblings, children). We would hope that our associates wouldn't be involved in doing the same just to bypass the brokerage fees. If that happens to be the case though, we would revoke their account for fraud :(

Hey guys,

Question for the TJ members out here, what is the best trading platform or service you have used for charting? Any specific broker software or is it a website that you subscribe to?

Best,

RKSV
most ppl use sharekhan or nest plus stuff. but none are good enough. esp sharekhan tt(it does not plot proper highs/lows for the candles). i do not knw how the hell ppl manage to trade with tht crap data !!
i just use esignal with ninjatrader. i have tried a lot of stuff and no software even comes close to the flexiblity and usability of ninjatrader.

btw your website says intraday margin is 60% for futures whereas in the forum i read sumwher its 50%. so wat is the actual requirement???

Hi kickass,

Thanks for your comments! NinjaTrader does look beautiful on their charts. How does this compare to other platforms such as MT4? Any of you guys tried Geojit in India?

And nice catch on the mistake, it is 50% but somehow it wasn't updated on our FAQ. Updated it with the new amounts.

Best,
