Hello RKSV,

1)

On the forum I read a lot about collecting premium by selling options. But I thought that for selling options a large amount of margin is blocked by the broker, so how does one benefit ?? Suppose I sell one lot of Bank nifty May 10000 CE at Rs. 170, what will be the mathematics. Assume that I have 50000Rs. in my account.

Open the series at 5200.
Sell both calls and puts and collect premium. :p
Close the series at 5200. :D
No payout on both sides.
2) I haven't yet started trading with you, but over the weekend, I tried logging in to NOW and went through the whole rigamorale of new security things.. select picture, answer 5 questions, new password etc.. at the end of it, NOW got hung, so I had to terminate the program from the task manager. Later, when I tried logging in, it didn't accept any password. What to do ??

3) How does one find out the volatility of a scrip in NOW ? For options, one presses F5 (right click/ Tools menu).. what about indices and equities ??

Tomorrow If I buy call CE5200 and do not sell it and Nifty closes at 5205 then will I be charged normally as per your Total Charges calculator on website or there will be extra charges for settlement? Please mention extra charges in % if any!

What will be the final settlement price for call CE5200 if Nifty closes at 5205?
[a] Last trading price. last closing price as per last 30 min. average like Nifty. [c] settlement price decided by NSE.

For ITM options settled by exchange, STT will be the same as collected from the futures... You don't have to pay the brokerage though... :D

Tested Basket order, works great as per my expectation of 2 seconds. Thank you!

By the way, Just like Ctrl+B is short cut to open basket order window, is there any short cut key for "Place" button in Basket order window or do i need to click this Place button with Mouse only?

I don't want to worry for brokerage on my each trade so I am trading with RKSV since they have Unlimited trading plan with Rs.1947 plus tax fixed brokerage for entire calendar month. Zerodha is charging brokerage in each trade. RKSV is charging less on transaction cost also. Check both party's website for costing calculator and spot the differences according to your monthly turnover! Zerodha is charging stamp duty per contract note which is not calculated in their calculator.

RKSV is using NSE NOW which is directly connected with NSE server so its very fast as trading terminal. Zerodha may be using NEST which I don't know and you can ask in their thread (it may be same as NOW).

What is pay in and pay out? If its meaning is: NSE to our trading account payment facility then its working fine and i think they have ILFS as clearing house.

I am not fully aware of facilities about Zerodha so confirm all which I mentioned here.

If you want to do unlimited trading with less transaction cost (for equity & futures but not for options) per month then RKSV is the best. If you will open account with RKSV directly then both of us will not get any benefit so I think you should open account as my referral so that you will get 20% off on your 1st month fees and I will also earn 20% of your fees :D

Yes even i want a broker with one time brokerage , since i have not heard the name wanted to confirm it with one of the existing users. Pay in Pay out is money deposited in and withdrawn , seems like u r quite satisfied with the service and yes Zerodha also uses NSE Now

I have deposited money via ICICI internet banking instantly. They have two other banks, may be HDFC and other. Have not withdrawn but they have said that money withdrawal will be done in 4 to 6 hours or 24 hours(confirm with RKSV according to different bank).

RKSV has Equity, Future and Option.
Zerodha has some more, may be commodity, currency, not sure their list.

By the way, my office is located close to RKSV's office :)
