I have deposited money via ICICI internet banking instantly. They have two other banks, may be HDFC and other. Have not withdrawn but they have said that money withdrawal will be done in 4 to 6 hours or 24 hours(confirm with RKSV according to different bank).

RKSV has Equity, Future and Option.
Zerodha has some more, may be commodity, currency, not sure their list.

By the way, my office is located close to RKSV's office :)
ya zerodha has a few other streams but u got to open a different account cant merge it all together , was asking for pay in because their website says funds are transferred instantly in minutes , should have been seconds

btw staying close to office is of no use or is it of any use :) , even my office is close to exchange ;)

You have pointed out that minutes so mostly RKSV will rectify it or clarify here for you!

Staying close to RKSV office has benefit of going there for trading in case of emergency--rarely required! Anyway, if you have any questions then you can ask me, I will reply for sure. Good night for now!

how do you guys handle daily m2m of option credit spreads? Eg. bull spread. Since the the position is covered (hedged), will I need to keep extra cash for M2M??

Hi Grules

just let me introduce myself i am trading only in option before RKSV i have ZERODHA & traded with them only for 3 days & I come to know about RKSV through traderji (Banner advertisement)

1) Yes RKSV is right for about pay in if u tranferred u r money jut give them one call & inform about u r transfer u will get credit immedaitely.
2) Pay out yes its within 24 hours once i withdraw money put my request around 5 in evening & got transfer next day before 11 AM
3) So far my experience with RKSV is good

My main reason to shift RKSV is

1) I want to reduce my breakeven point
2) Same platform using by both brokerage houses (in Jan) which is NSE Now so i am not getting any Software benefit
3) And third most important they are located in my city so if any issue i can rush to there office (they really dont mind (Amit i hope so))

About Zerodha
1) In customer care no doubt they are very good they will pick u r phone before 3 rd ring (Its my personal experience)
2) U get u r mail reply within half an hour if u are in working hours
3) In my first day of trading with Zerodha very same day i block my password 5 time & they reset 5 time without any delay (NSE team done it) but no sign of irritating
***4) *** And most importantly they have SMS service so u will get any changes in NSE Now software or anything related trading u get notification in u r mobile

I still have my ZERODHA account so i will get update from them which i use with RKSV

So they are also good but we trader (Or Bargain hunter Indians) always look to save our money I decided to trade with RKSV

Been RKSVS office 2 times & they will explain me everything in detail its
walking 10 min distance from Kurla station

in past post u see my reviews about RKSV if u want i can update one of contract note so u will get detail picture of other charges

And yes i am there first customer who goes live :thumb:

Hello RKSV, zara idhar bhi dekh lo bhai..
Hello RKSV,

1)

On the forum I read a lot about collecting premium by selling options. But I thought that for selling options a large amount of margin is blocked by the broker, so how does one benefit ?? Suppose I sell one lot of Bank nifty May 10000 CE at Rs. 170, what will be the mathematics. Assume that I have 50000Rs. in my account.

2) I haven't yet started trading with you, but over the weekend, I tried logging in to NOW and went through the whole rigamorale of new security things.. select picture, answer 5 questions, new password etc.. at the end of it, NOW got hung, so I had to terminate the program from the task manager. Later, when I tried logging in, it didn't accept any password. What to do ??

3) How does one find out the volatility of a scrip in NOW ? For options, one presses F5 (right click/ Tools menu).. what about indices and equities ??

Hello RKSV, zara idhar bhi dekh lo bhai..
Hi timepass,

Sorry for the delay.

1) For selling 10,000CE BANKNIFTY May, our margin would block 19,883 (Span) + 7,761 (Exposure) = 27,674 today. If that option is priced at Rs. 370 for one lot (25), you would get back 370*25 = 9,250 back as premium credited.

So your account would be Rs. 50,000 - Rs. 27,674 + Rs. 9,250 = Rs. 31,576.

2) NSE NOW's new policies apply to all brokers. These security questions come after SEBI put out a new rule requiring 2 factor authentication. We all use the same software but we haven't heard this issue from our customers.

3) Not available in NSE NOW.

Best,

RKSV
