I am not taking any other trade other then what is told by you.

My only concern is the time. Today i got time so able to see you intraday post on regular basis but this happens very rarely. i get time in morning only where i can do trading.

Just wanted to tell my concern.

What i have learnt will share with you

1. When market start tanking we panic and try to close positions @ market but by the market has already reached extream and our loss is big
2. then we see Market rising again almost 50% of the fall and we think it was only momemtary news and everything has settled so we reenter and again this is @ other extream
3. Market falls again to the low or nearby and again we close position and again book the highest loss

Despite this we are there to burn our hand, coming back to take vengeance with the market... and doing so we end up deep in red, making a BIG hole in the ledger balance.

I would say I'm the one of this kind of trader... , so soughted help from SG.

Vikrit....& others ...it is rather unfair & too early to ask Aarav what his takeaways from todays Trade.....!!!

He has his limitations of time and etc.... therefore, I am trying to get him out his panic syndrome ....if I may call it that ....so that he gets into the right frame of mind for positional trading....!!!

Why not give it a couple of weeks and then ask Aarav...!!!

SG, we have a thread by Dev Mookerji "Portfolio for aam aadmi using Rs. 10000 capital". He has discontinued it. But it's a good idea to have a live thread like that going on.

The thing is in past i have traded using many different strategies. May be some of them are good and will keep me in profit at end of month. But i am having no control on my emotions so traded for very small period using any of the strategy.

I tried to learn by my self but failed.

SO asked SG for help.

as i told this is the first time i am seeing big loss in my MtoM and still in position.

May be this is a learning for me but not so useful to you.

rkgoyal, thanks for reply. have seen your charts and discussions, and also you are very old member of this community,
i believe you can answer me, having some query about above points-

1. how person can assume/know this or that is a extreme?
2. what should a person do, if market tank in flash? (no SL)

TP....a few years back somebody posted that he was basically a day trader and lost lot of money....and was left with only with 4-5k without any possibility of adding anymore......!!!

Considering he mentioned he was a day trader.....had to first get him off the Day Trading Addiction....so got him to deploy.... about 70-80% of what he had in Scrips.... with a view to get back to about 10k..... which is what he had lost while Day trading....he did as he was instructed.... while I kept track of the 3-4 scrips....that he had bought...!!!

Scrips did keep moving...up...and at some point... he was able to read charts fairly well by then.... and was able to exit some of those scrips....thereafter what happened ...I have no idea....!!!

Hopefully, he is cured of his addiction to day trading...!!!

SG, didn't ask to make him uncomfortable, he himself said he learned something so asked,
didnt read whole thread/discussion, didnt know he is new. infact in TJ he is older than me.

SG, posted a chart in your TTM thread in morning, check when possible.

Anyways... for all those who think of keeping a S/L in the system....come back and review.... in about a 2-4 weeks....!!!

When Aarav's ledger is position sized to 4 MNFs for positional trading because he cannot devote full time to trading.... Flash crash gave an opportunity to enter the 2nd Lot....where is the question of S/L.....!!!
