Re: Stocks To Keep A Close Eye On - Chapter II

It is not necessary to enter only blue chips. You can trade any good share having a reasonably good daily volume and turnover. Only a disciplined trading practice has to be followed.Follow strict stop loss/trailing stop loss and entry exit rules. Never think that when price has fallen, it will come back again, even with blue chips. If price has fallen below your exit limit then simply exit. If the price turns around, you can again enter.

Hi Anant

Am a late entrant to this thread:(

Just rushed through the contents and strategies and the various discussions and posts of SG over the last day or so in his original thread as well as here.

Also observed a couple of links to AFL's for shortlisting scrips as and when the conditions are fulfilled as per SG's strategies on the first page of this thread.

Would be grateful if you could guide me to the specific afl's that i need to download for being able to follow the discussions on this thread from here onwards.

Also, am using ver 5.25 of Amibroker Pro - I guess the same would be compatable to the AFL's.

I do have a couple of other questions on how to trade this method but that will follow later on.

Thanks in advance
God Bless
Best Regards
Floyd

Hey

Anant bhai's method is a 20 SMA... it is a simple method and is as follows...

BUY: when the intraday bar is 70% or more above the 20SMA
SELL: sell on the next day when the bars is completely below the 20 SMA....

The AFL for this is available on the first post of this thread:

Hi San,

Savant has several times warned not to touch Austral Coke not even with a pair of tongs. Keep yourself far away from it.
